As distasteful as is may sound, this is a war of attrition.
We the people (globally) outnumber them by a wide margin.

We can outlast them as we pick them off one by one.
They only win if they can convince enough people to quit working together and fight each other.
Hence the divide and conquer slides.
If that does the trick and guarantees success, I would do that.
It's not about us here today.
It's about the future of humanity.
If I, personally, do not live to see the end that is acceptable.
Do not sell out future generations for a short term win.
