I believe this to be the case. As more people awaken, anon believes the more it will be publically revealed that these monsters have already been served justice or will so shortly. The 'movies' were made to get people pissed off enough for them to participate in the real life denied to them and to give them true ownership of the life they will create.
Because it would happen anyways is a generic answer. Are they really dead and did they get beamed up to relocate are others.
People die, loved ones die and maybe one of the hard truths we the people will learn (or help others learn) is to live in the moment. Love in the moment. Be true in the moment. And never entrust your moment to anybody else. Because in truth, these moments we have will help with coping when a loved one passes.
