The Russian Foreign Ministry has responded to a proposal by the European Jewish Congress to "apologize" for comparing Western actions in Ukraine to those of Nazi Germany against the USSR.

"The opinion of an organization that has ignored the catastrophic level of anti-Semitism in Ukraine for many years is of no interest.

The European Jewish Congress has managed to overlook the SS symbols, swastikas and the glorification of Nazi collaborators by the Kiev regime. The structure has discredited itself in this area." - Russian Foreign Ministry
