Chains

Many of us are burdened, broken, and without hope. The oppressor wants us that way.

From birth, most of this generation are born into chains, small links of sin that were passed down from our families. As we grow up we tend to pick up larger and heavier chains. These chains control us, drive us, and keep us down.

Isaiah saw this in his time. "Behold the Lord's hand is not shortend, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that he cannot hear; but your iniquities have seperated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tounge had uttered perverseness."

Most here are tied down with devices of evil, addictions, False hope in false prophets. Chain upon chain with seemingly endless links. Lust links with fornication which links with adultry, then links with lies. We have chains of idolatry in which we put our faith. Some even carry chains of anger and unforgiveness. Many people seem wear their chains with ease, not ever waking to realize.

Jesus came not to help us carry our chains, but to break them. If you are hurting, or burdened. Pray for the Holy Spirit to come into your life and watch the chains fall as you ascend into to Kingdom of God.
