I've been digging on streaming services because I hate with a passion, Comcast. I pay those motherfuckers a fortune every year and I'm sick of it. That said, if I am going to go that route I want something that is as close as possible to what I've got. I don't want to have to jump through a bunch of hoops to watch something on TV. I once sat down and literally went through every channel on our Comcast channel guide and out of hundreds of channels, some repetitive, there were only about 50 that I would even consider watching anything on and I was being very liberal with the choices. Don't watch the Hisotry channel much but have at times so I included selections like that in the total.
Then there is the ability to see the local channels for various things and in my case, severe weather and what's happening news wise in the area. My wife will watch anything. She's awake but she still likes to watch the shit on network TV.
Fubol is the closest to what I'm looking for so far. The streaming thing is getting better but still a ways to go. If anons have a suggestion, I"m all ears.
