right, but how is that MOST people?

of working aged adults, you're saying that the majority is below the tax threshold? a full time minimum wage job is 16k which breaks the threshold for both under and over 65, and how many full time employees are actually making the $7.25 minimum?

2 minimum wagers = over 30k which breaks every couple threshold for filing you posted

therefore, everyone who works is paying tax, unless you're a kid with a part time job

USA population total = 332m

USA population aged 19-64 = 194m

USA total workforce = 160m

~34m people aged 19-64 aren't working, that is not the majority

how many of those 34m are rich kids who would never work? how many are the spouse of somebody who earns enough that they don't need to work?

dunno the shill angle on the tax shit if there is one, but the math is easy

you know damn well 50%+ American's aren't the ones avoiding paying income tax

now who would benefit from trying to convince the majority that a flat income tax on all would be bad .. tax avoiding billionaires?

fear tactics that the majority of people would be fucked over by this because they don't earn enough to be taxed was a decent attempt but you suck at math
