I am a believer in the Djinn. More so than in ghosts and such. Ghosts are just Djinn. Some Djinn come into existence with some of the memories and quirks of living beings that have died. The body of the Djinn is made up electricity (a smokeless fire that the Quran states is what the Djinn are made of). That energy, the Djinn can manipulate and cause noises, voices, brief manifestations, apports, etc…

The reason why I started to believe in the concept of Djinn (multi dimensional beings that exist in tandem with humanity) was because of my paranormal experience in a house of mine.

Every night around 3 AM I would be woken up by loud "scratching" noises on the wall. When I closely listened and observed the "scratching" I realized that it wasn't the sound of actual physical scratching as with teeth, claws, or fingernails; but it was the sound akin to electricity arcing and rippling that mad the sound seem like scratching.

So, when anyone says that they heard spirits scratching, they are actually hearing energy arcing.

Soon after I heard the "Scratching" noise, it stopped and then it made the sound of footsteps running across the floor and then a giant crashing noise followed, that sounded like someone was angry and flipped a table full of plates, silverware, glasses, tool box full of wrenches and such.

But there was absolutely nothing in the room or entire house that would had make that noise.

So, yes, I believe in Djinn that have the ability to manipulate electric energy.

Some Djinn are outright evil and have deep hatred for humans. These are the Shaitan (Satan), and they can actually harm humans mentally and physically.

Other Djinns are not entirely evil, but yet not entirely good. These ones are the most common that humans will encounter, and occult practitioners will want to summon and either use occult means to force them into service (such as King Solomon used a magic ring to control 72 demons), or in some instances the magician may be able to befriend a Djinn into service.

Most Djinn are indifferent and don't let themselves be known, and then there are the Djinn that have devoted their existences to the worship of God, and will not usually make themselves known to humans, but may protect or help them (similar to Guardian Angels).
