So it would make sense that after RR's meeting in the WH last Friday, POTUS decides to fire him, he calls Sessions or Wray to say this and PS has the phones in the DOJ/FBI offices of Sessions or Wray tapped.
After all, he is in the Human Resources department at the time and knows who and when someone is being called.
Wait for conversation to be over and get a transcript of the conversation right there where he's working at.
He clearances were never reduced so he could get the transcripts of said conversations.
