Carlin lied to the FISA court by naming Page as a spy knowing he was a US citizen (which disqualifies FISA court authority) & that he was working for the FBI. Once he realized Trump was going to win, I'm guessing his Viva Le Resistance attitude quickly faded, knowing his head would be at the top of the chopping block. And by the way it's been incorrectly surmised that Viva makes it Spanish. Spanish would be Viva La. In French context, it doens't mean the usual “Long live the resistance. It's literally “Let the Resistance live”, which translates functionally to “Let The Resistance Be Born”. Based on these tactics, it stands to reason that Manafort was a plant sent in specifically to be indicted to cast shade on the Trump admin. I'm guessing he'll end up pleading guilty or confessing to Russian collusion to give the Fake News Media some condemning headlines to run with, “Proof of Trump's admin being compromised”,“NOT A WITCH HUNT”, etc..
