White House Misled Reporters as DOJ Searched Biden’s House for Documents

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre misled reporters on Friday when she suggested President Joe Biden was just visiting his beach home as usual, when in fact the Department of Justice was searching his residence.

On Saturday, the White House revealed that the Department of Justice had “conducted a comprehensive search of the president’s Wilmington residence” and found six additional documents with classified markings. The search had been conducted in the presence of President Biden’s personal attorneys, as well as White House counsel. (In contrast, former President Donald Trump’s lawyers were not permitted to observe the search of his private residence when the FBI raided it, ostensibly looking for classified documents.)

President Biden did not go to his Wilmington home on Friday, but rather to his house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. When asked about the apparent deviation in Biden’s travel plans, Jean-Pierre was elusive and suggested that the president was simply traveling to his beach house — despite mid-winter conditions — as on other occasions.

The transcript:

Q And one last really quick question. The President going to his home in Rehoboth Beach today — does that have anything to do with classified documents being found at Wilmington and none being found at Rehoboth?

MS. JEAN-PIERRE: So, as it relates to classified documents, information which the President takes very, very seriously — and you’ve heard him speak to it when he was asked by your colleagues yesterday when he was traveling in California — I would refer you to the White House Counsel Office for any statement coming from here or — or anything — new developments coming from here.

But as — and as it relates specifically to the investigation, I would refer you to the Department of Justice, so I’m not going to — not going to comment on that piece at all from here. I’m just going to continue to be prudent and consistent and respect the Department of Justice process.

As it relates to his travel, as you know, he often travels to Delaware on the weekends. I just don’t have anything else to share. But anything related to the legal process, I would refer you to the White House Counsel Office.

The White House has previously suggested that prior searches, conducted by Biden’s personal attorneys with the approval of the Department of Justice, were complete and that no further documents remained to be found.

Last Tuesday, Jean-Pierre was asked in the White House press briefing whether it was “safe to assume” that all of the classified documents in Biden’s unlawful possession had been found. She did not answer but said that the White House was “cooperating fully” with the Department of Justice, and reiterated that the administration would not “interfere” with the administration of justice (though is has arguably done so on previous occasions).

Journalists have begun voicing their frustrations with Jean-Pierre, who has repeatedly given them incorrect information about Biden’s classified documents, though she has blamed statements from the counsel’s office.

Anti-government protest increases with 130 Israeli companies announcing strike

The joint committee of groups opposed to the reforms put forth by the far-right and religious government says drastic measures must be taken to make clear that assault on the judicial system will not be accepted

Over 130 hi-tech companies and businesses will go on strike on Tuesday to protest the proposed legislation to change the Israeli justice system, the joint committee of organizations opposing the government said on Sunday.

"More than 130 businesses and companies will go on strike that will last for several hours, as a warning to the Israeli government," the joint committee said in a statement.

It also said that additional forms of demonstrations were expected to take place on Thursday, and that further detail will be revealed soon.

A mass demonstration against the government is set for Saturday evening in Tel Aviv after similar protests were held in the past three weeks.

The joint committee published a list of 16 of the most prominent high-tech companies including Wiz, INX, Cheq, Luminescent, and more.

"The dictatorship coup will severely harm civil rights, the Israeli economy, and all aspects of life," the joint committee said. "Therefore, we must take drastic measures. Despite the economic cost, we are taking this first step, in order to make it clear to the Israeli government that the regime change will not fly. The State of Israel will not be a dictatorship because it will not function, not even for a single day, without the central backbone of the Israeli economy and Israeli society."

The legal reforms advanced by Levin and Netanyahu would empower the country’s 120-seat Knesset to override Supreme Court rulings with a simple majority of 61 votes. Levin also proposed that politicians play a greater role in the appointment of Supreme Court justices and that ministers appoint their own legal advisers, instead of using independent professionals whose positions on the legality of decisions are binding.

On Saturday, an estimated 110,000 Israelis turned out to two rallies in Tel Aviv, to protest the government's plan. Other demonstrations with the participation of thousands, were held in Haifa, Beer Sheva, Jerusalem, and other locations around the country.

Dozens of al-Shabaab terrorists in Somalia killed in strike, US military says

The self-defensive strike was conducted in a remote location by U.S. forces Friday at the request of the Somali federal government.

A U.S. military strike killed approximately 30 al-Shabaab fighters in central Somalia, where the terrorists were engaged in heavy combat against the Somalia National Army, the U.S. Africa Command said.

The self-defensive strike was conducted in a remote location by U.S. forces Friday at the request of the Somali federal government, officials said. No civilians were injured or killed, according to authorities.

"The combined actions by partner forces on the ground and the collective self-defense strike is estimated to have resulted in three destroyed vehicles and approximately thirty al-Shabaab terrorists killed," U.S. Africa Command said.

Somalia's Information Ministry said their soldiers killed 100 al-Shabaab terrorists and destroyed five vehicles, Reuters reported. The Islamic extremist group killed seven Somali soldiers, the government said.

Al-Shabaab is designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department and is "the largest and most deadly al-Qaeda network in the world," according to Africa Command.

NASA wasted $35 million on unused software, fines and penalties: watchdog report

The space agency lacks a centralized database to track what licenses it purchases, NASA's inspector general found.

The Golden Horseshoe is a weekly designation from Just The News intended to highlight egregious examples of wasteful taxpayer spending by the government. The award is named for the horseshoe-shaped toilet seats for military airplanes that cost the Pentagon a whopping $640 each back in the 1980s.

NASA wasted $35 million on unused software, software fines and penalties, and its lack of software management exposed the space agency to numerous risks, according to a new report by the NASA inspector general.

The watchdog broke down the $35 million in wasteful spending into $15 million in unused Oracle licenses and $20 million in fines and overpayments.

"The Agency does not have a centralized, authoritative database or inventory that tracks what licenses have been purchased, specific licensing agreements, and whether licenses are available for use by others at the Agency," Inspector General Paul K. Martin said in the report. "These shortcomings have resulted in NASA spending approximately $15 million over the past 5 years on unused Oracle licenses."

Adequate software management might have prevented the loss of tens of millions of dollars more, the IG determined.

"Based on the data available, we found that in excess of $20 million has been unnecessarily spent on software fines and penalties over the last 5 years," reported Martin. "In our judgment, penalty expenditures were potentially avoidable if an enterprise-wide Software Asset Management program had been operational. Therefore, we are questioning the $20 million in penalties."

The agency's software asset management shortcomings expose the agency to "operational, financial and cybersecurity risks," the IG further warned.

The watchdog gave NASA a "basic" rating in its software management — the lowest rating possible.

The space agency "has yet to embrace key best practices or fully implement federal guidance required to appropriately manage its Software Asset Management program," the report found, adding, "NASA has not implemented a centralized Software Asset Management tool to discover, inventory, and track license data as required by federal policy."

NASA concurred with most of the inspector general's recommendations and partially concurred with others.

One of the audit's nine recommendations was to "establish enterprise-wide (institutional and mission) Software Asset management policy and procedures." NASA management concurred, saying "an evaluation of software acquisition and management processes and policies is underway." The estimated completion date is Dec. 10, 2023.

Son of Democrat House Minority Whip Katherine M. Clark arrested for assaulting cop during Boston Antifa event

Dowell was charged with assault by means of a dangerous weapon, destruction or injury of personal property, and damage of property by graffiti/tagging.

The son of Democrat House Minority Whip Katherine M. Clark was reportedly arrested during an Antifa riot in Boston, Massachusetts after allegedly vandalizing personal property and charged with assaulting an officer while resisting arrest Saturday night.

According to the Boston Police Department, at about 9:30 pm officers responded to a protest at the Parkman Bandstand Monument located in the Boston Common. "Upon arrival officers observed an individual defacing the monument with spray paint. The tagging read 'NO COP CITY' and 'ACAB,'" authorities stated. The phrases are commonly utilized by anti-police Antifa activists, including the ones rioting in the Atlanta "autonomous zone."

The suspect was later identified as Jared Dowell, 23, of Melrose. AntifaWatch pointed out that the suspect is likely the child of the Democratic politician.

According to an online biography for Rep. Clark, a "Jared Dowell" was listed as her child.

During Dowell's arrest, a group of "about 20 protesters" surrounded the officers while "screaming profanities through megaphones," said the department. This was taking place on a public street, causing traffic to come to a "standstill," according to the statement.

"While interfering with the arrest of Jared Dowell, an officer was hit in the face and could be seen bleeding from the nose and mouth."

BPD added that after Dowell was successfully placed under arrest, he was charged with assault by means of a dangerous weapon, and destruction or injury of personal property and damage of property by graffiti/tagging.

Dowell is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.

On Saturday night, Atlanta-based Antifa members took to the streets to throw rocks at and light fires outside of the Atlanta Police Foundation after the now-suspended Atlanta Forest Twitter account called for a "night of rage" following the fatal shooting of one of their members, 26-year-old Manuel Esteban Paez Teran.

Manuel Esteban Paez Teran was killed by police after he allegedly shot an officer who was part of an operation clearing out the Antifa-occupied autonomous zone dubbed "Cop City," where the Atlanta Police Department Training Facility is set to be built. The officer was taken to an intensive care unit and treated.

SHOCKING: Drag queen performs nearly nude in front of child at Austin 'all-ages' event

As the song Soul Control by Jessie Ware plays, the performer mouths the lyrics in the child's direction, "Tell me what you wanna do. Soul control, that's how you want it."

On Saturday, an "all ages" drag brunch at Moxy Austin University, a hotel and bar in Austin, Texas, hosted parents and at least one child to see drag performers gyrate, dance, and nearly expose themselves to the mostly cheering audience.

Independent journalist Tayler Hansen posted video from the event and wrote, "An 'All Ages' Drag Show took place today at Moxy Austin - University, TX. A child in attendance was exposed to male private parts and gyrating directly in front of him. This show is hosted every third Saturday of the month and is always marketed as 'All Ages'."

One of the attendees, a small child only feet away from the performer, gazes for a moment before turning his face away from the spectacle. A nearby adult laughs and pets the child as he buries his face in her lap.

Later the performer dances over to the child and squats before him. As the song Soul Control by Jessie Ware plays, the performer mouths the lyrics in the child's direction, "Tell me what you wanna do. Soul control, that's how you want it."

Hansen tweeted, "I've been reporting on 'All Ages' Drag events since June, starting with the viral 'IT'S NOT GOING TO LICK ITSELF' footage from Mr Misster’s Gay Bar. There's ALWAYS a common reoccurrence at these shows. The Drag Queens perform sexual acts and intentionally engage with children."

The Biden Family Looks Like a Mafia Family and Acts Like a Mafia Family – Is It a Mafia Family?

The Biden family looks like a mafia family, acts like a mafia family, is it a mafia family?

Former US Speaker Newt Gingrich wrote a piece this week about the Biden crime family – the Delaware Sopranos.

Newt shares:

Watching HBO’s “the Sopranos” can really help you understand the Biden family.

Between Hunter Biden’s laptop scandal, and the Bidens’ various shady private-equity schemes with foreign fraudsters, it’s not too hard to make the analogy.

President Joe Biden is clearly the head of a family. He has repeatedly exploited his public offices to make money. His son, Hunter Biden, is like the ambitious-but-dull son who wants to inherit the family business but always screws up. Some of what the Bidens have done is clearly inappropriate. Even more of what they have done is an abuse of public office. Most of what they have done is simply secret.

The best example of Bidens’ manipulation of the system for profit surrounds the Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement at the University of Pennsylvania. The center has given the Bidens remarkable access to Chinese Communist Party money. According to reports in the New York Post, the university, “raked in a total of $54.6 million from 2014 through June 2019 in donations from China, including $23.1 million in anonymous gifts starting in 2016.”

Newt is right.

Not only that, but TGP reported how Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, some individuals from China and at least one individual connected to the mafia in the US met in Obama’s White House at least once.

Tennessee Christian school principal indicted on 11 new child sex charges after 2022 arrest

The principal of a Christian school in Tennessee, who was arrested last year on accusations of sexual activity with a minor, has been indicted on 11 additional charges.

Liberty Christian School principal Jason Kennedy, 47, was already facing charges in connection with his alleged sexual activity with an underage girl. He was charged in August with two counts of sexual assault by an authority figure and one count of solicitation of a minor.

School secretary and homeschool coordinator Brittney Branham, 28, was also charged with solicitation of a minor in August over incidents that occurred in Kennedy’s home. It is unclear if she will face any new charges.

District Attorney Stephen Crump told FOX Chattanooga on Friday that the new charges Kennedy was indicted on represent three more victims, which means there are now four total victims in the case.

The grand jury indictment shows Kennedy’s new charges include sexual activity involving a minor, solicitation of a minor to observe sexual conduct, aggravated sexual battery, six counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and two counts of violation of the Child Protect Act.

The victim, whose accusations led to the arrests or Kennedy and Branham last year, is a 19-year-old who says she was underage at the time of the incidents.

Kennedy was living at his home in Athens, Tenn., with his wife and Branham in 2019 when the victim would spend the night, staying in the same room as Branham, according to affidavits from the McMinn County Sheriff’s Department. The victim said Kennedy would come into the bedroom and talk about sex with her and Branham.

The victim said Branham urged her to allow Kennedy to touch her private area, but to not tell anyone because they could get in trouble.

According to the affidavit, the teenager said Branham and Kennedy bought her a “black and white skimpy night gown” in August 2020, and one night when she was staying at Kennedy’s home, he came into the room she and Branham were in and touched the victim’s breast.

The victim told investigators when she was staying in the room with Branham in another instance in early 2021, Kennedy came into the room and began talking about sex.

House Oversight Chair Says ‘Americans Would Be Shocked’ By Biden Family Ties To China

Republican Rep. James Comer of Kentucky said Sunday that “connections” between China’s ruling party and the Biden family present serious concerns amid Biden’s document scandal.

“I think most Americans would be shocked if they saw how many connections the Biden family has to people directly affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party,” Comer, who chairs the House Oversight Committee, told “Sunday Morning Futures” host Maria Bartiromo. “It’s very startling.”

“I took the president at his word when the first set of documents were found at the Biden Center for Diplomacy that he had just inadvertently misplaced those documents,” Comer said. “But now this has gone from being irresponsible to downright scary. This has all the pattern of an influence-peddling scheme and, you know, it also has the makings of a potential cover-up. I mean, five different locations at least?”

Comer’s comments came following Saturday’s report that the FBI discovered more classified documents during a search of President Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware, home. Attorneys for President Biden also discovered classified materials in an office Biden used at the Penn Biden Center and in the garage and other areas of Biden’s home in Wilmington.

“Who knows what those personal attorneys have been doing, and when you look at all the things our investigation is covering with respect to the influence peddling, there’s a lot of connections with the CCP directly to both Hunter Biden, Hunter Biden’s uncle Jim and Joe Biden,” Comer added.

President Biden met with some of Hunter Biden’s Chinese business partners, the New York Post reported, and also wrote letters of recommendation to colleges for the children of one of Hunter Biden’s business associates. Biden has denied knowledge of Hunter Biden’s business dealings and claimed that his son did nothing illegal on multiple occasions.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Record number of border deaths occurred under Biden, data shows

"Biden's got blood on his hands," former CBP Commissioner Mark Morgan said.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection recorded 880 illegal migrant deaths last fiscal year under the Biden administration, marking the highest number of deaths since data became available, according to data obtained by a Freedom of Information Act request.

The second-highest number of migrant deaths, 566, occurred in fiscal year 2021, which lasted from October 2020 through September 2021, according to data published Friday by The Epoch Times. Although this time period includes part of the Trump administration, federal data shows that during President Joe Biden's first full month in office, Border Patrol agents began encountering tens of thousands of more illegal migrants at the southern border.

Publicly available data shows that in 2020, the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, 247 border deaths occurred, a record low. The Biden administration has broken the policy of publicly releasing the border death toll.

Last fiscal year, Border Patrol agents encountered a record of nearly 2.4 million migrants. Some border communities, such as Brooks County, Texas, have been forced to build makeshift morgues to deal with the increased number of migrant deaths.

"When you increase the number of illegal aliens coming by 500 percent, you're going to increase all the suffering, tragedies, and inhumane actions associated with that," former CBP Commissioner Mark Morgan told Epoch.

"Biden's got blood on his hands. He knows this is happening. And he knows migrants are dying. He knows migrants are being assaulted. He knows migrants are being raped. He knows migrants are being thrown into the life of trafficking," he said.

The number of deaths may be higher this fiscal year, as encounters are up 38% so far from what they were at this point in fiscal year 2022.

Natural Immunity Superior to Vaccination Against Infection in Children: Study

Children with natural immunity were better protected from COVID-19 infection and hospitalization than children who were vaccinated, according to a new study.

Children aged 5 to 11 with post-infection protection, or natural immunity from an infection with Omicron or a subvariant, and no vaccination had 88.4 percent protection against reinfection, researchers in North Carolina found. That was compared to 59.7 percent protection against Omicron from a primary series of a messenger RNA vaccine, or two doses of vaccine from Pfizer or Moderna, among the uninfected.

The protection remained higher over time until month eight when the protection from natural immunity among the unvaccinated was estimated to be 18.8 percent and the protection from vaccination was pegged at 22.5 percent.

Fifty percent effectiveness is considered the threshold for an effective vaccine, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the World Health Organization, but the effectiveness of the shots remained above that bar for just one month, the researchers found.

A monovalent booster, or a discontinued booster, elevated the protection for the vaccinated, including children with a previous infection, by just 24.4 percent after one month, dipping to 19.3 percent after five months. A bivalent booster, or one of the new shots cleared in the fall of 2022, boosted the protection by 76.7 percent after one month but the shielding fell to 47.3 percent on top of the original series after one more month.

Researchers did not provide separate estimates for the naturally immune and unvaccinated, and the vaccinated and infected, against hospitalization and death.

They pegged natural immunity for the 5 to 11 group against hospitalization and death at 87.5 percent after one month, compared with 73.3 percent from a primary series. After three months, natural immunity was estimated at 83.8 percent protection versus 39.3 percent from vaccination; after six months, natural immunity was pegged at 76.2 percent, compared to 2.9 percent for vaccination.

Even though the vaccines are authorized for the prevention of COVID-19, they have become increasingly worse at preventing infection. Authorities have shifted to promoting them as a tool to prevent severe disease, but that protection has also become subpar against Omicron and its subvariants, real-world data and studies show.
