related anecdote, used to have these Vietnamese neighbors when i lived in my first house.. wasn't a terrible neighborhood but not great either.. white people stayed in their houses.. lots of hispanics and asians, apparently used to be a more black neighborhood 10 yr before i got there, but when i was there the few blacks stayed in their houses.
still, lotta the hispanics and asians always zoomin thru the hood in their shit rides.. My viet neighbors were actually cool for the most part.. annoying that they basically used their driveway as a commercial auto shop.. but there was no bullshit with them.. any request I had with them was met with offers to accommodate in add'l ways after complying with my request.. We shared a fence that blew over in a storm, sometimes you gotta negotiate repairs with the neighbor.. they just brought in a ton of asians within 24 hours after storm passed, redid the whole length saved me a grand probaby, or at least $600 plus my own labor.. all they asked was for my permission to work partly in my backyard, and it was nice of them to ask..
But they had a couple ol ladies in that house, ol Vietnamese ladies.. one day, some shitstain going to quick hooks a little girl under his car and drags her about 20 yards on the pavement before stopping.. I was with my kids playing out front when it happened.. and before I even knew what had happened, ol ladies next door are wheeze-laughing their asses off.. and they know what happened.. was sick.
For all i know, they were lining cars with fentanyl or some shit.. hence the professional neighboring despite possibly lacking souls altogether.
