Reporter: China has been saying there is 70K COVID deaths, up from dozens reported earlier this month. Does the US believe that new number by the Chinese government?
Kirby: We have continued to encourage the Chinese to be cooperative with international reviews and studies about COVID…we cannot speak to the veracity of those numbers.
Kirby: We need to prepare ourselves to continue to have to support Ukraine for quite some time…I can't tell the American people exactly how long it's going to take; we have to be prepared to stay at this task of supporting Ukraine, as [Biden] says, for as long as it takes.
Reporter: How hard is it to walk out of a SCIF with classified material?
Kirby: Everybody who goes into a SCIF knows what the requirements are; to go in, and knows what the requirements are to go out…you certainly can't leave with material unless that material is appropriately secured.
Reporter: Usually what happens to someone in the chain in command if they do leave with a piece of classified material that they're not supposed to have, or that is not secured?
Kirby: If you do it inadvertently…you self-report. Which is exactly what [Biden] did. Self-reported. And you make sure that you get the material back, secured where it belongs, and that you are transparent about it.
Reporter: Does the administration think it's time for all former presidents to do a scrub of their homes and offices to make certain they don't have any classified documents in their possession?
Jean-Pierre: I would refer you to the White House Council's Office.
Jean-Pierre: [Biden] is very much looking forward to meeting with Speaker McCarthy; we haven't locked anything in yet.
Reporter: Can you assure the American people that when [Biden and Harris] leave office, no classified documents will walk away with them to places they shouldn't be?
Jean-Pierre: I'm going to be very careful here…[Biden] takes classified information, he takes classified documents very seriously…I'm just not going to go beyond that. I'm not going to predict or lay out anything that might happen in the future.
Jean-Pierre: There is data out there that shows that the economy is growing, that shows that we are indeed going to a stable and steady growth.

Reporter; [Biden] said he was going to talk to us about this [mishandling of classified material] soon. Does he have any plans to answer the questions…to perhaps hold a press conference?
Jean-Pierre: I don't have anything to preview at this time for any opportunities for [Biden] to address this.
Reporter: He hasn't answered questions about this. We've been shouting.
Jean-Pierre: Actually, when he was in California, he took a question. When he was in Mexico City, he took a question. The day after that, he took a question.
I remember Tractor Supply suddenly not having Ivermectin; seems like there was an image posted of a shelf in the store with a sign saying it wasn't available or something. I think people also said they would ask what a customer was going to do with it; can't remember if they refused sale if you said it was for COVID. Not sure if that was every location, but it wasn't available on the website for a while either. You can buy it online from them now. A warning says it is not approved for preventing or treating COVID in humans.
