they pre-empt and "perform" an attack whereby they know they will be safe in order to deter further "attacks" and make those, in this case, those with legitimate grievances as unhinged and violent, adding insult to injury.
optics is their usual weapon. if that's a wrong observation re: optics, make your case.

Millions of people were coerced and gaslighted into taking a medical procedure that didn’t stop transmission. Those that didn’t take it were discriminated against and demonised as “anti-vaxxers”. It was absolutely disgusting. Shame on those who did this.
