Former Trump adviser predicts more classified documents will be found with elected officials

"It's making our government from top to bottom look like a Mickey Mouse operation," said Patel.

Former Trump adviser Kash Patel predicted Wednesday that there would be more classified documents found in possession of formerly elected officials.

"There's gonna be more and more places where Biden's documents turn up. It's gonna go on for a while," Patel said on the John Solomon Reports podcast.

In the past few weeks, it was revealed that President Joe Biden and former Vice President Mike Pence had classified documents in their homes. Pence informed Congress this week that he had some in his home in Indiana, while Biden had them in multiple places such as his home in Delaware and at his former office at the Penn Biden Center in Washington.

"The Pence thing may be a little bit of a surprise, maybe not," Patel commented on the Pence documents. "But I'm sure any former vice president who's out there right now is probably doing a double check for documents just in case."

The former adviser said that this whole situation is making the United States government look irresponsible and reckless regarding how they handle classified documents.

"It's making our government from top to bottom look like a Mickey Mouse operation," Patel stated. "I understand that there are documents when you're a vice president and what not that can inadvertently when you pack up and leave — come with you. But that is the job of the 10,000 plus people that surround the White House to ensure that doesn't happen."

"Not to mention the 55,000 intelligence officials that work for the United States," he continued. "And so it's not even reckless or careless. It's just more of government interference and government corruption to say, 'We know better. We know what we're doing. You the American people don't.'"

Arizona Lawmakers Push Bill To Make Bitcoin Legal Tender

A bill introduced by Sen. Wendy Rogers reflects growing interest in bitcoin from U.S. states…

State Sen. Wendy Rogers (R-AZ) has introduced a set of bills aimed at making bitcoin legal tender in Arizona and allowing state agencies to accept bitcoin.

As Bitcoin Magazine's 'BTCCasey' reports, the proposed legislation aims to recognize bitcoin as a legal form of currency in Arizona, allowing it to be used to pay for debts, taxes and other financial obligations.

This would mean that all transactions that are currently done in U.S. dollars could potentially be done with bitcoin, and individuals and businesses would have the option to use bitcoin as they see fit.

Specifically mentioning bitcoin alone, the legal tender bill defines bitcoin as, “the decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency in which a record of transactions is maintained on the Bitcoin blockchain and new units of currency are generated by the computational solution of mathematical problems and that operates independently of a central bank.”

The acceptance bill is more broad, saying that, “A state agency may enter into an agreement with a cryptocurrency issuer to provide a method to accept cryptocurrency as a payment method of fines, civil penalties or other penalties, rent, rates, taxes, fees, charges, revenue, financial obligations and special assessments to pay any amount due to that agency or this state.”

Additionally, as CoinTelegraph reports, in legislation introduced in the first session of the Arizona State Senate in 2023, Senators Rogers, Borrelli, and Wadsack proposed having Arizona residents decide on amending the state’s constitution in regard to crypto and property taxes.

Should the measure pass the legislature, voters could choose in November 2024 to make virtual currency — specifically tokens that are not “a representation of the United States dollar or a foreign currency” - tax-exempt.

Under Arizona’s constitution, all federal, state, county and municipal property are tax exempt, as are public debts, many household goods, and certain “stocks of raw or finished materials, unassembled parts, works in process or finished products”.

Data from the Arizona Secretary of State indicates that there were more than 4 million registered voters in the November 2022 general election, with the state leaning slightly Republican.

This is the second time that Sen. Rogers has introduced a bill aimed at making bitcoin legal tender in her state. She introduced the same amendment in January 2022, which died by the second reading.

Although it may appear there are slim chances of the bill passing this time, El Salvador’s adoption of bitcoin as legal tender has proven to be a boon for growth and investment in the country.

Recent actions in states like Texas, New Hampshire, Missouri and Mississippi all indicate increasing U.S. state interest in bitcoin and its benefits.

As bitcoin adoption strengthens, the likelihood of such bills passing will only increase.

Judge Orders Biden DHS To Release Files On Agents Who Allegedly Helped Censor Election ‘Misinformation’

A Louisiana judge ordered the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to release files that could reveal five agents’ alleged involvement in government efforts to suppress social media content deemed to contain “misinformation” about elections, court documents show.

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey and Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry moved to release testimony from Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) employees Chad Josiah, Rob Schaul, Alex Zaheer, John Stafford and Pierce Lowary, after learning of their participation in the Biden administration’s counter-“disinformation” efforts, court documents dated Jan. 19 show. The judge’s motion Wednesday could shed light on a “switchboarding” tactic employed during the 2020 election, according to the order.

The lawsuit alleges that the defendants, which include the named individuals as well as President Joe Biden and top officials from a variety of federal agencies, “colluded and/or coerced social media companies to suppress disfavored speakers, viewpoints, and content on social media platforms by labeling the content “dis-information,” “mis-information,” and “mal-formation.”

The five CISA employees allegedly served as a “switchboard” to route requests from federal agencies to censor disinformation to various social media companies, according to the documents.

Switchboard work employed “an audit official to identify something on social media they deemed to be disinformation aimed at their jurisdiction,” top CISA election security agent Brian Skully testified in a deposition released Thursday. “They could forward that to CISA and CISA would share that with the appropriate social media companies.”

Skully’s deposition detailed participation of the Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security‘s intelligence branch and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence in meetings with social media firm executives to tackle online “misinformation” during the 2022 election cycle.

While the notices were intended to provide social media companies with situational awareness regarding attempts to spread disinformation on their platforms, “the idea was that they would make decision on the content that was forwarded to them based on their policies,” Skully said.

Ex-Dem Mayor Gets Six Months For Child Pornography

Dennis Doyle, the former Democratic mayor of Beaverton, Oregon, was sentenced Tuesday to six months in federal prison and ordered to pay $22,000 in restitution to his victims for child pornography possession, the Oregon District U.S. Attorney’s Office announced.

Doyle originally became mayor in 2009 and lost his 2020 reelection bid against Beaverton City Councilor Lacey Beaty, Willamette Week reported. He knowingly possessed child pornography images between November 2014 and December 2015, confessing when FBI agents approached him in early 2022 before pleading guilty to one count in October, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

The Beaverton Police Department informed the FBI after a local business alerted them in January 2022 to the discovery of a thumb drive containing child pornography and personal photographs that seemed to be Doyle’s, the office reported. Several of the images showed children under 12 years old who the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children had identified as known sexually exploited minors.

Doyle’s six-month prison sentence will be followed by five years’ supervised release according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. His crime can be punished by up to 20 years in prison and lifetime supervised release.

“Mr. Doyle will be required to register as a sex offender for life,” a U.S. Attorney’s Office representative told the Daily Caller News Foundation. The office declined to offer further comment.
