>Asteroid 2023 BU Will Brush The Earth's Atmosphere Tomorrow
>the cosmic object will fly by Earth at a distance of fewer than 10,000 kilometers
if by "brush the earth's atmosphere," you mean miss by 6000+ miles, which NO ONE but astronomers will notice, then sure thing.
the atmosphere doesn't have a "sharp" boundary, but generally 100 miles is considered "outside" the atmosphere.
FFS, what kind of tard reads a "blog" for scientific data?
once again i gotta ask, does the BO/BV need to institute a test of basic science literacy for notetakers/bakers?
25 MILLION space rocks enter the atmosphere EVERY DAY, depositing 15,000 TONS of material on earth every yr.
this is NOT NOTABLE.
