I’d suggest this, get chicks now, or soon. You will have about 2 months while they grow, to make a coop. Don’t delay this, please. Don’t worry about feeding them. I’m not sure I believe the whole feed=no eggs issue, but regardless, you can make your own feed. They’re like little dinos and eat anything. The point is, don’t pussyfoot around.
