Archaeologists have uncovered a 4,300-year-old mummy wrapped entirely in gold near the Step Pyramids - and it could be the oldest ever found.
The man, named 'Hekashepes,' was found inside a limestone sarcophagus at the bottom of a 50-foot-deep shaft.
The excavation team also uncovered a trove of beautiful life-size statues carved to resemble servants, men, women and families.
The discoveries are part of a group of fifth and sixth-dynasty tombs found 19 miles south of Cairo, which officials hope will revive tourism in the region.
In addition, three statues of a person named Fetek were found alongside an offering table and a stone sarcophagus containing his mummy.
The excavation team also found many amulets, stone vessels, tools for daily life, and statues of Ptah-Sokar.

The composite god Ptah-Sokar is simply a reference to Jupiter and Saturn in conjunction. Ongoing upheaval would ensue during these encounters. Such close Royal Conjunctions were represented in the headdress carved on top of mummified figures produced in the Late Period. The horns, in this case, represent the solar wind slamming into Jupiter/Ptah (or possibly rolls of ecliptic dust). The Jovian (i.e. pertaining to Jupiter) magnetosphere is so large that the Sun and its visible corona would fit inside it with room to spare.

Now, the prediction that the Euphrates River will eventually dry up has become a reality; in fact, this is now taking place. The drying up of the Euphrates River has coincided with the discovery of many old artifacts, and even these discoveries have horrified people all around the world. In a video that was uploaded not too long ago, a guy can be seen demonstrating the precipitous decline in water level in the Euphrates River.
Only in the most recent few years has the water in the river nearly completely evaporated. In addition, the man demonstratedan ancient tunnel that leads to the underworld and has an almost flawless building structure. It even has stairs that are set in an orderly fashion and have survived to the present day. But what really takes the cake is the question of who built all of this.
Some people believe that this is a relic from ancient times that has been maintained until modern times. On the other hand, there is a widespread belief among the natives that the tunnel goes to a place where angels are held captive. According to the Bible, more specificallyRevelation 9:14, which makes mention of it.
