The media seems to be ignoring the fact that Nichols wasn't just 'pulled over'. It was a felony stop with a police car used to block his vehicle from leaving. Not sure what they were after him for, but he must have been a suspect in something serious. NBC 'analyst' just claimed they 'pulled him over and did not have a reason to do so.'

The way they approached the car, he must have been wanted, or was fleeing the police, perhaps after a drug deal or something.

The protesters in New York have the same signs as being carried in Memphis and DC, made by the 'Party for Socialism and Liberation', a declared communist organization.
Calling for people to commit arson isn't unusual for these communists, but I've never seen them organize and announce an effort to break people out of jail.
Protest leader on Memphis bridge just warned the crowd, claiming that during the riots in Ferguson, "many activists lost their life, due to being shot and found burning in their cars", implying the police killed them.
