There is only one Party, always has been since 1824-1828 era. The ''DEMOCRATIC-REPUBLICAN PARTY''. They split into 2 factions in 1828-1830 time frame. They swapped positions, view points - campaign strategies, in the 1936-1938 time frame. May have changed positions at other times in history also, depends upon who did the research and whom was funding the researchers.
There is only 1 goal, Totalitarianism, by any means necessary. Socialism is just the most recent mantra.
