Authorities say Oregon man suspected of torturing woman is using dating apps to lure victims

Suspect at large.

Officials in Oregon are urging the public to be vigilant as a manhunt ensues for a suspected criminal alleged to be using dating apps to lure his victims.

The Grants Pass Police Department said in a release that Benjamin Obadiah Foster is wanted for attempted murder, and that the accused evaded a police force this week sent to his home to bring him in.

Foster “is actively using online dating applications to contact unsuspecting individuals who may be lured into assisting with the suspect’s escape or potentially as additional victims,” the police said.

Officials urged residents to “be extra safe while this predator is still at large,” while also noting that anyone aiding him “will face potential prosecution.”

Foster, described as “approximately 180 pounds, with Brown hair, possibly worn in a bun, and blue eyes,” is believed to be armed with a gun and is considered “extremely dangerous.”

President Donald Trump is the only Western leader who has consistently calling for a de-escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian War.

In early September Trump warned the Russia-Ukraine War could lead to World War III and could lead to a nuclear war.

Later that month, President offered to step in and mediate a peace deal between Russia, Ukraine, and the US.

Earlier this week President Trump posted this on Truth Social.

An activist at a slavery reparations meeting in California blasted the $223,000 payments proposed for black residents in the state - yelling almost a quarter of a million dollars for each person is 'not enough'. The eye-popping outburst came from Reverend Tony Pierce who voiced his dissatisfaction after California Secretary of State Dr. Shirley Weber opened up the floor to the public. Nine task force members held the meeting in San Diego and welcomed guests for public comments to discuss California AB 3121, the bill signed by Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom looking into reparations for black citizens. The group is 'studying the institution of slavery and its lingering negative effects on living African Americans, including descendants of persons enslaved in the United States and on society.' Rev. Pierce had just been told his time on the podium was up - after turning around to directly address the crowd on his views - when he yelled out his last words: 'And $200,000 is not enough! $223,000 is not enough.'
