Be glad you are not called to be the eternal champion, fighting lifetime after lifetime, timeline upon timeline.
Carrying on performing the anti narrative activities is in and of itself a testimony.
While lifetime memories may be dim, the memory of battle by wit, word and weapon feels like the shoes and gauntlets put on many times, with creases and worn in spots, put there by use over and over. The vague visions of continents and strange moons rising and falling is like an itch you can't scratch. This lifetime is not one of full memory.
