Alameda Seeks to Claw Back $446 Million From Voyager Digital
Alameda Research Ltd., Sam Bankman-Fried’s defunct crypto trading house, is seeking to claw back about $446 million from bankrupt digital asset lender Voyager Digital Ltd.
The funds are related to loans Voyager provided to Alameda before Voyager filed for bankruptcy in July. Alameda repaid the loans, but the payments happened within 90 days of its own bankruptcy filing, so Alameda is arguing they were so-called preferential transfers and is demanding the return of the funds, court papers show.
