Just as conventional tank-destroyers did not make It might not make them obsolete, but it sure will change their role on the battlefield. But the cost-benefit analysis of fielding a conventional armor division is obviously a losing strategy. The main battle tank is just too-expensive to use.
Just wait for somebody to field something the size of a quad ATV that can accept different weapons systems that fire semi-autonomously. You can field a fuckton of ATVs with recoiless guns for the price of a MBT.
