The universe is so vast that the technology needed to operate in interstellar distances goes beyond what we understand, it no longer is "technology", it's a way of "being", there are laws at work here that go beyond our physical understanding, in few words, I'm talking about spirituality, and one can not simply brute force his way to spiritual enlightenment or take a shortcut via technology, that means that in order for you to reach this level of civilisation, one that is capable of complete freedom, interstellar travel and is completely unbound from physical limitations, you must have gone through spiritual awakening, this implies that you have reached a point where you are beyond petty thing like say, fighting over resources, dominating an inferior form of life, or trying to impose your beliefs on someone else, and so on, true travellers from beyond are no joke and their way of living, their technology, and their reasoning goes beyond most human comprehension.
That level of evolution is barred by a spiritual lock you can't undo unless you realize some of the most basic rules of the universe, like the fact that we are all one, that everything is connected, and that all that is, is just vibrations, and it's as fleeting and beautiful and real as a song is, or a dream, as long as it's playing. If you know this, then you are unbound, and free of judgment or "want", that is a guarantee that the advanced ones, the travelers, are truly good, and I believe they have our backs. Just remember the prime directive is true at all times, they can't interfere with our free will, unless in extreme cases, and only to prevent "others" from denying us our free will.
