Yeah, it's like saying Bayern Munich. It should be Boeuf Bourguignon. But Julia decided to say Beef instead. Me, after the first attempt I stopped with the pearl onions with the spice sack. Quickly got rid of that step. It's the best beef stew I've made so far. Use me a 4 lb. chuck roast and a little extra bold red wine. Eat it the first and second day (it tastes better the second) then freeze the rest in 5 2.2 cup containers. Each container gives two meals. Use mostly on mash potatoes with caramelized onions.
