agree. i'm around the same age and still remember that stuff. poltergeist, nightmare on elm street, etc.

i believe it is all part of the MKUltra-type practices they use on the public.

i've always tried to steer my kids away from that stuff, but it is so hard when it is all around you in our society. i try to remind them that it is just fiction, not real. seems like an uphill battle, especially since they have ramped up the CGI and lifelike appearance (also, the Dolby sound). they have it dialed in.
