Jen Klein [White House press conference]: Later today [Biden] is hosting an event in honor of the thirtieth anniversary of the Family and Medical Leave Act. He will be joined by [Harris], several members of his cabinet, and will welcome President Bill Clinton back to the White House to celebrate the first bill that President Clinton signed in office.
Klein: These efforts are especially critical in the face of republican officials denying the science, threatening pharmacies, and fighting access to safe, FDA-approved medication. I'll remind you that medication abortion accounts for more than half of all abortions in the United States.
[what damage to the mother occurs from the 'safe' abortion drug?]
Klein claims the Supreme Court's Dobbs Decision, "took away a fundamental constitutional right".
Jean-Pierre: Today we're also marking the one-year anniversary of [Biden-Harris] reigniting the 'cancer moonshot', with the ambitions goal of cutting cancer deaths in half over the next twenty-five years.
[that goal is hardly 'ambitious']
Jean-Pierre: [Brian Deese's team] is the most diverse NEC in history, sixty percent women, and fifty percent people of color.
[diversity hiring means incompetence]
Jean-Pierre: Republicans got in the way of getting a really important critical piece of legislation, the George Floyd Justice and Policing Act.
[legislation written by communists intending to weaken police]
Jean-Pierre: We are going to stand by the Ukrainian people for as long as it takes.
