Local action creates a national impact. Ever wonder what that means? Local action? What action? National impact? What impact? What if I were to tell you that you can pinpoint exactly what local actions are needed to make very specific political impacts nationally? Very specific and to a tee. You can also identify decision points, and options for those decisions. The process is predictive, fluid and very effective for focusing effort of action, managing researches, manpower and managing your time.
Over the next few articles we are going to go on a journey where I’m going to show you how local political action can create national political impact by leveraging the power of the military planning concept of “operational art”. Operational art is the process of linking National Political strategy goals to local political actions needed to accomplish those goals. This process helps you identify decision points, create contingency plans and detail tasks needed to accomplish national strategic goals. In other words, YOU are the plan. Planning top down for actions bottom up.
