MSNBC Anchor Hospitalized With Severe Myocarditis, Pericarditis

Yasmin Vossoughian said that the health scare started on Dec. 20 when she started to experience chest pains that “waxed and waned over a period of 10 days.” Those pains “continued to get worse” over the coming days, she added.

The anchor, who hosts a weekend program on the left-wing network, said she went to urgent care on Dec. 30 and was told she had acid reflux. A day later, she woke up with severe chest pains and pain in her left shoulder, leading her to believe she was suffering from a heart attack.

Vossoiughian, 44, said she went to the emergency room. Doctors diagnosed her with pericarditis, or inflammation of the lining of the heart. They claimed it was caused by “a literal common cold,” she said.

She added that she doesn’t smoke, she runs several miles per week, does yoga, doesn’t eat meat, and drinks occasionally. “I’m a pretty healthy person,” she said.

After she was admitted to the hospital, she spent several days there before she was released on Jan. 4, Vossoiughian said.

“But that was not the end … three days later, I was readmitted when I felt a flutter in my heart like a butterfly,” she said. Doctors then informed her that she developed myocarditis, inflammation of the heart muscle, and she spent another five days in the hospital.

Vossoiughian then said that it was “just the cold that was doing … all the inflammation in and around my heart.”

Speculation

With Vossoiughian’s confirmation that she suffered pericarditis and myocarditis, there was widespread speculation on social media that it may have been caused by a COVID-19 vaccine or booster. The MSNBC host did not make mention of COVID-19 or vaccines during her segment, and she said her doctors blamed it on the common cold virus.

Both pericarditis and myocarditis are considered side effects of mRNA vaccines manufactured by Pfizer and Moderna, according to the Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

But, according to Johns Hopkins University, while rare, myocarditis can be caused “by an infection in the body,” including the common cold, influenza, and COVID-19. Bacterial, fungal, and parasitic infections can also lead to myocardial inflammation.

The Myocarditis Foundation, meanwhile, says that “viral infections are the leading cause of myocarditis,” but it notes that “a wide range of infections, diseases, and substances may cause this condition.”

And the UK National Health Service says that “pericarditis often follows a viral infection, such as a sore throat or cold.”

In 2021, Vossoiughian wrote on social media that she was fully vaccinated for COVID-19. “We are both vaccinated…that was confirmed before this pic!” she said in April of that year. Comcast’s NBCUniversal also mandated that its employees, including those working at MSNBC, get the vaccine before returning to the office in early 2022.

Maricopa County Assistant Election Director Disappeared After Deposition Request Regarding Fraudulent Signature Verification – Special Action Filing Included

We The People AZ Alliance’s Shelby Busch gave another presentation on Monday in the Arizona Senate Elections Committee titled “Election Mechanics Part 2.“

The Gateway Pundit reported on part one of Busch’s presentation on January 23 and the shocking findings, including Election Day tabulators reportedly rejecting nearly 1/4 million vote attempts on election day and nearly 300,000 mismatched or fraudulent mail-in ballot signatures in Maricopa County’s 2022 Election.

Busch revealed that Maricopa County Assistant Elections Director Celia Nabor suddenly disappeared from the County’s payroll when attorneys for Busch requested her deposition regarding signature verification.

Busch presented more flaws in the 2022 Election this week, including adjudicated ballot discrepancies, Election Day lines and malfunctions that disenfranchised THOUSANDS of voters, shady voter registration modifications, and missing chain of custody on hundreds of thousands of ballots.

Heather Honey also presented her findings on the County’s early ballot chain of custody failures.

Honey testified in Kari Lake’s election trial that BOTH Runbeck and Maricopa County “weren’t following the legal requirements for chain of custody.”

The Gateway Pundit reported on the entire presentation, which can be found below.

According to Busch, Celia Nabor supervised signature verification in the last three elections, and a deposition was requested for Nabor after the 2022 Election, in a Special Action lawsuit seeking public records.

However, Busch’s legal team followed up on this deposition request on January 12, 2023, and the County told them that Nabor was no longer employed.

Similarly, The Gateway Pundit reported that Pinal County Elections Director Virginia Ross, who oversaw the General Election discrepancies discovered in the recount of Abe Hamadeh’s race for Arizona Attorney General, reportedly collected a $25,000 bonus to run a good election, despite the significant errors and her failure to disclose the issues discovered in a recount. Ross then retired on December 2, 2022, and moved to Texas the next day.

It is unclear if Celia Nabor received a bonus or whether she was promised something in exchange for her disappearance. We do not know if Nabor is still in Arizona.

Celia Nabor, in her official capacity as assistant Elections Director for early voting under the County Recorder, gave a sworn declaration in May 2022 regarding mail-in voting laws during litigation over the Arizona Elections Procedures Manual.

Nabor also testified at a January 5, 2022 Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Special Meeting on the County’s 2020 signature verification system, where she stated, “we did not tell staff to stop looking at signatures,” calling this claim “completely false.”

“Curing is when a signature cannot be verified,” she continued. “There was a law change in 2019, and that law allowed voters the five business days post-Election Day to cure their ballot, so we saw the decrease in rejects because of that very significant law change.”

In the 2022 Election, Maricopa County reportedly cured thousands of ballots days after the 5-day statutory period, which ended on November 16.

House GOP investigating John Kerry's secret China negotiations

Comer's letter to Kerry is but one of many such document requests House Republicans have sent in recent weeks.

Republicans on the House Oversight Committee are investigating private discussions that White House climate czar John Kerry held with Chinese Communist Party officials.

In a Thursday letter, committee chairman Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., informed Kerry of the investigation and renewed requests for documents and materials connected to his activities as the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate (SPEC), according to Fox News. Comer made similar requests while Republicans were the minority in the lower chamber, but Kerry ignored them.

While in his current post, Kerry has held a number of private discussions with Beijing officials about the administration's ambitious climate agenda. The details of those conversations and the origins of the administration's seemingly lenient stances on Beijing-related environmental issues are of interest to Comer.

"The Committee requests documents and information to understand your role and provide necessary transparency over the SPEC and its activities," the Kentucky lawmaker wrote. "As a member of the President’s cabinet, you should be representing the United States’ interests. Your statements, however, consistently show disregard for American national security and taxpayer dollars."

"To date, you have failed to respond to any of our requests… Yet, you continue to engage in activities that could undermine our economic health, skirt congressional authority, and threaten foreign policy under the guise of climate advocacy," he added.

Comer's letter to Kerry is but one of many such document requests House Republicans have sent in recent weeks. Under Comer's leadership, the Oversight Committee is mounting a bevy of investigations into the Biden administration, including an inquiry into the Biden family's private business dealings and the president's alleged mishandling of classified documents.

Kerry took up his post as SPEC in 2021. He previously served as former President Barack Obama's second secretary of state and unsuccessfully challenged former President George W. Bush for the nation's top job in 2004.

CNN Camera Crew Present Outside Mike Pence Group in D.C. After Apparent Leak from DOJ

A CNN camera crew was as of Thursday morning present on the street outside former Vice President Mike Pence’s advocacy group headquarters in downtown Washington, DC, Breitbart News has learned.

The group is called Advancing American Freedom and has headquarters in downtown Washington, D.C.

Photos of the CNN staffers—who had a camera on a tripod there—provided to Breitbart News suggest the camera crew was possibly awaiting action from the Department of Justice (DOJ) or FBI in the ongoing classified document scandals plaguing Pence, former President Donald Trump, and current President Joe Biden.

CNN and the DOJ have not replied to requests for comment.

Pence officials have previously made clear that staff-led searches have been conducted both at Pence’s home in Indiana and at this organization’s headquarters and that there are no other possible locations to search.

The presence of the CNN camera crew raises questions about whether or not the DOJ or FBI are leaking to establishment media any key facts or intelligence about the various investigations. At this stage, there is no reason to believe that any intelligence that CNN may have gotten is correct or incorrect either, and Pence’s office has not been raided or searched yet by federal agents—and it is unclear if it ever will be.

Pence voluntarily provided classified documents he discovered at his Indiana home recently to federal authorities, which somewhat roped him into the simmering scandal currently ripping Biden apart. Federal authorities searched Biden’s two homes in Delaware in recent weeks, and have been zoning in on troves of documents at the Universities of Pennsylvania and Delaware as well from his time as Vice President during former President Barack Obama’s administration and from his time as a U.S. Senator.

A source close to Pence said that the former vice president and his team will comply with the various authorities and have been in touch with the FBI about the possibility of scheduling additional searches.

Trump, meanwhile, saw his home at Mar-a-Lago raided back in August as part of that probe, which now is being overseen by a Special Counsel—a Special Counsel has also been appointed in the Biden case too.

Questions of leaks to media about flashy law enforcement action like executions of search warrants or even just voluntary searches have dominated each of these stories for weeks. It is unclear if the DOJ or FBI will take any action against leakers in their midst, or if the Department and Agency believe that such leaks are acceptable.

It is also unclear if the CNN news crew is still remaining outside Pence’s organization.

Sydney-based university professor and close mate of Anthony Albanese tells ABC the Alice Springs crime wave crisis meeting was like a 'KKK gathering' - as outrage mounts over the broadcaster's bias coverage

Save Alice Springs meeting was held on Monday night

Attended by families, business owners, Indigenous leaders

Indigenous academic makes dramatic comparison about it

ABC only aired interviews with those critical of meeting

An Indigenous academic has compared Alice Springs' community crisis meeting to a Hollywood movie about race-hate murders by the KKK in the 1960s American south.

Nareen Young, a Professor for Indigenous Policy at the University of Technology, Sydney, claimed on ABC's The Drum, comments from some concerned locals were 'appalling'.

Thousands of fed-up residents attended the Save Alice Springs meeting as the Outback town grapples with a crime crisis, amid threats by locals to sue the Northern Territory government for $1.5billion in compensation.

'If you saw that room in Mississippi Burning, for example, Australians would say "how terrible, oh that's terrible that happens there",' Prof Young said.

'The vitriol and racism and lack of regard and respect for those people on their land while those people were living off the bounty of it was appalling.'

Prof Young also caused controversy last year when she bizarrely claimed then-Prime Minister Scott Morrison was out of touch because he ate white bread.

She is also close with Anthony Albanese, who was the best man at her wedding.

Summer snow for Victoria, NSW as Brisbane swelters in heatwave

It's a tale of two extremes on much of Australia's coastline this morning as Victoria and NSW brace for summer snow while Brisbane wakes to another day of a humidity-fuelled heatwave.

It's currently 11 degrees in Melbourne, but feels closer to just eight degrees, and today is set for a top of just 17 degrees.

There have been been flurries of summer snow over Victoria's alpine region, including Mount Baw Baw.

That's an extremely unusual weather event for this time of year, having only happened about three times in February throughout the past 16 years.

The SES received 100 calls for help in Melbourne yesterday after the icy blast hit, with properties damaged and trees tipped over by the wind.

A pane of glass even fell from a high-rise on Chapel Street in South Yarra.

Weatherzone reported the chilly temperatures would continue through Australia's south-east today, with further snow flurries possible in the aptly-named Snowy Mountains in NSW.

Heatwave continues for Brisbane

It's a different story in Brisbane, where high humidity levels are driving a heatwave into the weekend.

Brisbane is expected to hit 36 degrees today, with Ipswich set for 38 and Springfield for 37.
