Stay in the EU, they said.

It has your best interests at heart, they said.

It represents your interests, they said.

It's democratic, they said.

I used to approve of the pro-humanitarian approach the EU USED to adopt, where by privacy and the right of free speech were cornerstones in the EU.

But then I saw how they handled the EPO (European Patent Office). They allowed a single man to hijack control, refused to ouster him, and watched HELPLESSLY as he took control by instigating his own board members whilst WHISTLEBLOWERS GOT FIRED.

That was when I realised the TRUE nature of the EU was corruption. Corruption with copyright law. If the EU could NOT fight a SINGLE man who was OBVIOUSLY corrupt, how could they hope to fight hundreds of thousands of lobbyists, lawyers and crooked politicians who weren't obviously corrupt?

I voted Leave that goddamn day.

Nothing has made me regret that decision.

NOTHING.

This just serves to reinforce EXACTLY what I anticipated from the EU. I hope the remainers are reconsidering their position and aiming for a hard border. The EU is horribly corrupt - article 13, the censorship law that copyright lobbyists cream their pants over - is just the damning proof in all of that.
