I figured it out, why all the fire associated with God. Simply because fire was the only thing in ancient times that provided light in dark places. If it was night, then you would nee a torch to light the way. If it was inside, maybe even during the day you would need fire to light the dark places. So we were at God was really the devil because of all that shit but it makes sense that in this context it was a good thing not a bad one. So we are back to God being good.
