Someone please meme (pic related) Biden with ice cream in hand saying "We're gonna take care of it".
I wondered yesterday if it would be best to wait for the balloon to be over water to shoot it down. Who knows what might have been in the balloon and, if it landed on the ground somewhere, there would be potential civilian collateral damage as well as a lot of potential interference with forthcoming investigations of said balloon.
