Understand about it being extraordinary re pilots refusing to yield, not a pilot but did some work for Boeing on CRM a coupla decades ago. Modern aviation uses strict protocols for everything since those two pilots both decided to take a detour to look-see the Grand Canyon in the 1950s at the same exact time……
