The magnetic lines on the Mid-Atlantic ridge say it will just flip MAGNETICALLY. No the crust will not slide around putting Antarctica at the equator. If so the mid Atlantic ridge magnetic lines would be rotated 90deg. Instead they are rotated 180 degrees.
