mysterious blue light?

the sky always has mysterious light in it, and often that is blue.

a flash? a cloud? a region? some kind of dry-lightning?

often with video 'mysterious' lights are reflections in glass that the camara's field of view faces.

7926 mi equatorial diameter

add 20 miles on either side

so we get 7966 mi for the upper atmosphere through the (theoretical) center that represents the sphere which (doesn't quite accurately model) models the earth (approximations are necessary in these kinds of giagantic phsycial calculations.

now assuming that the balloon can be stuck to another balloon, and then how far apart would they be from each other, we'd model it simply.

2pi * r where r is 3983 miles

size of earth

circumference at 20 miles high :

25025.93 miles

5280 ft/mile

balloon diameter: 200 ft

balloons per mile: 26.4 in a string, side by side (they could be spaced a bit apart from each other)

so we would need 660684.47 balloons with diameters of 200 feet to circle the whole Earth

to cover the whole sky all around the earth? The equation is a bit more complicated.

once the full ring is constructed perhaps there is a way to merge the balloons?

if you follow the chain I gave a link to a story.

look for it.

it's unclear but that theory does get posited for the explanation. No one concludes anything and says 'this is it' because it's still very mysterious.

I've calculated (roughly) that

176,908,397,783.04 balloons, 100 ft in radius, would encircle the whole world.

assuming that they were all at the same altitude of 20 miles high

that's a lot of balloons!

thats a lot of balloons!

'feels like'

when you're echoing despair in an international venue, viewed by millions, you deserve to be challenged.

if you're really in despair this is the wrong place to look for comfort.

find some other venue. There are plenty of other forums on the Internet.

you want conflict.

I could care less for that.

if you do it in my direction I'll do what I need to do, mostly just filter you.

and wonder

why you need attention.

anyway it's 176,908,397,783.04 balloons, 100 ft in radius, cover over the whole Earth (calculated to be at 20 miles high)
