Irina Yarovaya suggested that the world parliaments should request information on Pentagon’s activities on their territories

Washington deliberately concealed information related to military biological programmes, describing them as “humanitarian activities”, as said Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma

 

On Monday, February 6, a meeting of the Parliamentary Commission on Investigation into Circumstances Related to the Creation of Biological Laboratories by the US Specialists on the Territory of Ukraine was held at the State Duma. Members of the Commission discussed the analysis of the DTRA report (the US Defense Threat Reduction Agency) on activities in Ukraine.

 

According to the Co-Chair of the Commission, Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya, Jeffrey Sachs, an American scientist who chaired the Lancet commission investigating the COVID origin, agreed to communicate and cooperate with parliamentarians. Members of the Commission will also discuss with him relevant issues via videoconference on Monday.

 

Country of lies

 

The parliamentary investigation into the activities of the US military laboratories in Ukraine aroused interest in the world and raised concerns of US citizens, according to Irina Yarovaya. She recalled that the Commission had earlier revealed the fact that the programme, which Washington called as a biomedical programme and being implemented by Pentagon structures, in fact, it was a military programme.

20 years ago at a meeting of the UN Security Council, US Secretary of State Colin Powell accused Iraq of producing weapons of mass destruction, holding a vial with ‘white powder’ as proof, Vyacheslav Volodin posted on his Telegram channel.

 

“The UN Security Council did not authorize Washington to use force. But American troops invaded Iraq anyway. Half a million civilians became victims, the president was executed, the country was gone,” added the Chairman of the State Duma.

 

Later, Powell admitted that the vial case was just a hoax, but Washington had not been held to account, as emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin.
