Unfortunately that is not how the Left works.
If Trump gives in and signs an order in effect written by the goons, the next thing that happens won't be an end to yelling about migrant children. The next thing that happens will be a million people marching on Washington to demand more for immigrants.
The Left gets bolder after a victory, when there is blood in the water.
Even if well-intentioned, a move by Trump to give in to this bullshit narrative will bring 10x the bullshit in the coming months.
