Congratulations to my friend and colleague @CMillerTIgerHwk on the release of his book. From Army private to SECDEF, Chris was the soldier’s Secretary. The prototypical quiet professional we needed. Effectiveness over all else. This is his brutally straightforward account.
No Secretary of Defense, in recent history, has had more combat experience than @CMillerTIgerHwk. His sobering observations on the state of the civilian military relations is something that every American must read.
I was honored to learn from @CMillerTIgerHwk and follow in his footsteps at SO/LIC.
