Yup gets the membrane to separate from the egg & attach to the shell. When the shell cracks it still holds together. Like that security film on glass.

Might take a few to get the feel but it's pretty simple. Good luck fren I remember the days of peeling and every little piece would stick to the egg, kek sometimes half the white would be lost. Welp guess I'll go boil some eggs for a snack. I don't much think salt is half as bad as they claim either.
Kek the ol jar method, splat! You have to use pressure when rolling in between hands but much more manageable with feel unlike shaking in a jar. If the board only gets an egg slide we should be happy, kek could be much worse.
