Rogers Vows To Expel All Chinese Goods From Defense Supply Chains
The Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee is vowing to expel all Chinese goods and materials from the United States’s defense supply chains.
Chairman Mike Rogers (R-Ala.) said that he would lead the effort to expunge China-sourced goods during a Feb. 8 hearing of the committee on the subject of defense-industrial base security.
“The greatest concern I have with the defense industrial base is our continued reliance on China as the source of raw materials,” Rogers said.
“I won’t stop until we’ve completely rid the defense supply chain of Chinese goods and materials.”

The Church of England (C of E), the mother church of the international Anglican Communion, is considering stopping referring to God as “He” and dropping the phrase “our Father” from the start of the Lord’s Prayer.
To be more inclusive, Reverend Joanna Stobart, vicar in C of E’s diocese of Guildford, claimed that some clergy wants to refer to God not as He or Him, according to Telegraph. In a letter to the clergy, Stobart asked the Liturgical Commission to provide an update on the steps being taken to develop more inclusive language in their authorized liturgy.
She also instructed the bishops to give “more options for those who wish to use authorized liturgy and speak of God in a non-gendered way, particularly in authorized absolutions where many of the prayers offered for use refer to God using male pronouns.”
