She was a pro-European official. An appointee of Moldovan President. Quit because she had no support.

She had just met with NATO peeps.

Perhaps Moldova is leaning back into Russia?

Their country is partially occupied by Russian army forces.

Moldovans have been protesting the pro-EU government for awhile. A former pro-Russian president was arrested last May. Their association with Ukraine has caused interruption in energy supplies.

Things seem to be changing in Moldova.

Can he be arrested for non-compliance?

Yes, but it is rare:

First, they could ask the U.S. Attorney of the District of Columbia to bring criminal contempt charges, which comes with a fine up to $100,000 and prison time.

Another option is for Congress to file a civil lawsuit in federal court. In this situation, a judge could order someone to comply with the subpoena.

The last option involves the Sergeant At Arms, who can be ordered by Congress to detain anyone who doesn't comply with a subpoena.

Buried in Lod(picrel) where our Muslim brothers believe the final defeat of Satan will occur.

St. George, actually a Turk, is also on Russian coat of arms:

Nice dubs.

Just like you don't have to be a representative to be Speaker, you don't have to be a judge or even a lawyer to be on SCotUS.

The Framers had a better sense of people than we modern Americans with our ruling political class. That was never their intention.

Found the one-eye thing odd as well, but that anons post interesting.

That George site also said he was a Roman soldier and not a knight, never visited England at all, and the dragon was added later.

Have zero pity for a woman who dies killing her baby.

Doctors should be publicly executed.

How the baby got there is an action taken by people. Committing a murder to cover it up should not be an available choice. It should entail the most harsh penalties.

Alito's ruling on this shows legal support for those penalties.

Isn't Sinema gay? So why would she even have need for an abortion?

Russia has them in a pincer move. Breaking supply lines.

Ukrainian forces can't fall back fast enough.

Defense Politics ASIA does a nice job of keeping up on the war, better than any other source in anon's opinion.

No problem, his replacement is nearby and handy.

She's really not that great looking for a supposed model.

Fetterman was an abject failure as mayor of that little shit PA town.
