So, the US, Poland, Britan, and several other countries are sending tanks to Ukraine to battle Putin's forces. Tanks need high penetration rounds to defeat other tanks. This is accomplished by adding a depleted uranium core to the projectiles fired from the tanks, along with high explosives and milli-second delay charges so the rounds penetrate the tank, then explode inside.
The problem with this is, depleted uranium is radioactive. Mr. Putin has just announced that on the very first detection of depleted uranium, he will consider it a "Nuclear Exchange" and respond accordingly.
