You lack a fundamental understanding of AI.
>The AI will never be able to 'think' in abstract terms. Full fucking stop.
In a millisecond AI could generate tens of thousands of possible scenarios and outcomes to whatever possible reaction or thing you could do.
Again. You lack a fundamental understanding of AI.
Literally this: Whatever country that achieves AI supremacy will own the world.
>Ever hear of the Carrington Event?
You have gone full Reddit (retarded)
What does this have to do with AI?
>No match for intuition
Play chess with a supercomputer and see who wins. I cannot break it down to more simpler terms than that. If you do not understand after this point then you are a lost cause.
They could always replace routers/servers give me a break. Most internet infrastructure is fiber optic (immune to EMP). Such a scenario is hardly civilization ending. Just a hiccup.
Elliptic curve cryptography?
>Anon, what interprets the lights inside those fiber optic lines?
Machines that can be swapped out if they fail
>but I think cell towers would melt.
The thing with electrical discharge from solar flare emissions (or emp) is it is really high voltage but micro amps. Hardly any amperage so the only problems it can cause is shorting out small wires/connections and maybe in some extreme cases ionizing the air which causes dielectric breakdown for air insulated systems. The latter of which I think theyโve figured out a way to guard against in case that ever happens.
