I know people who are black and are truly African..in fact Kenyan and live there. These people are fierce about their heritage and their country and take exception to black Americans who claim to be 'African Americans'. The Kenyans say "Do not say that you are African because you are far from it! Do not insult us! You do not live here, you have never visited Africa! You do not behave as Kenyans or real Africans!"
