An infant's immune system is so immature that giving a Hep B vaccine on the first day of life would not have anything to do with providing immunity to the baby. Immunoglobins from the mother's milk coat the baby's gut to protect him or her from infections as the immune system gets "trained". Injecting a Hep B vaccine is about something else, entirely, I believe based on much evidence. How about a large aluminum dose? Why? 1. Damage the child's brain. 2. Induce a lifetime risk of immune and auto-immune disorders. 3. Turn the baby into a "cash cow" for the Pharm.
