Mulling something this morning. When Obama was selected the first time I was working in a factory environment that was racially diverse with an immigrant population, too. One Black person ran around the production floor shouting about the "victory" of the first Black President (even though the real first Black President was Bill Clinton, but I digress).
In retrospect I have this question: Why was it okay for some people to be happy about the racial description of Obama and not be called "Black supremacist"? Because Obama was a minority? But he was half White, too wasn't he?
