We know the planet never literall flooded with 40 days and 40 nights rain. It just didn't happen. It's symbolic, parable. Why do you think the LGBTQWTFBBQ crowd use the rainbow symbol, Gods promise to never again "flood" the earth? Who isn't procreating?

Jesus didn't just speak in parables. He said "if you don't understand this parable how will you understand any of the parables?" and said ALL these things are DONE in parable, so some although ever seeing never perceive. Scripture is sealed up and the seals are broken in Revelation.
Another example besides the flood is the tower of babel, not a literal tower but a hierarchy. Look at the catholic church as an example, a man sits on a throne claiming to be Christs substitute, literally sitting at the top of a hierarchy "tower" reaching unto heaven.
When Jesus died on the cross, the curtain or "veil" separating the "Holy" from the "Holy of Holies" was torn, and some can see through it. Why do you think priests are called men of the cloth? They're upholding the veil, or trying to.
Then your logic goes against what Jesus said. Do you expect a literal dragon out of the literal water too?
Taken does not mean taken away, as in raptured. It means accepted. People are voiding the Word of God for the sake of their traditions, refusing to seek Truth because they're so sure what they thought it meant must be true. Remember when Jesus came they expected something else.

Clothed in sackcloth represents repentance. How do you confess your sins to people who wont believe? Sometimes you can't just tell people, you have to show them. How's the "plague" going? Are you watching the water like Q told you? Revelation 17:15 tells you what the water is. People, multitudes, nations and languages. What does it mean to be turned to blood?
The BREATH OF LIFE enters the Witnesses. Jesus overcomes with the BREATH OF HIS MOUTH. Jesus BREATHED on them and said "receive the Holy Spirit"

What happens with people who do not rejoice with the Truth, but refuse to believe Truth and be One with Him because of what they thought things meant, based on their false traditions. What happens to those who elevated themselves above all others? Remember that great delusion for those who refuse to love the Truth?
