At least six banks were targeted as the Lebanese pound hit a new record low on Thursday, said a spokesperson for Depositors Outcry, a lobby group representing depositors with money stuck in the country's banking sector.

A bank in south-east Beirut neighbourhood Badaro smouldered as firefighters sprayed water, while riot police stood nearby with shields.

Since 2019 Lebanese banks have imposed restrictions on withdrawals in US dollars and Lebanese pounds that were never formalised by law, leading depositors to seek access to their funds through lawsuits and often by force.

The Lebanese pound has lost more than 98 per cent of its value since the country's financial sector imploded in 2019.

It was unofficially trading at about 80,000 pounds per $US1 on Thursday, dropping from 70,000 pounds two days earlier.

The country's central bank — which has struggled to manage the crisis — did not respond to a request for comment about why the pound had crashed and what it was doing to address the issue.

Along with Russia, China and Germany are now requesting an investigation into the sabotage of the Nord Stream 2 pipe and any connection to Joe Biden.

Sey Hersh dropped a bomb of a report a week ago tying Joe Biden to the sabotage of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. The pipeline was blown up last fall and Hersh accused the Biden gang of being behind it.

Hersh spoke a few days later about his report and doubled down on his reporting.

People are listening to Hersh. As reported earlier today at TGP, Russia read Hersh’s report and is asking the United Nations to look into the report.

If Biden did blow up this pipeline then this could arguably be an act of war that only Congress has the right to make per the US Constitution. This is grounds for immediate impeachment if true. Biden’s response is damaging to the country. US’s reputation under Biden if failing. This is another act that damages the US and Americans.

China and Germany are now asking for investigations into the pipeline.

According to RT, China is now reporting on Hersh’s claim that Biden was involved in blowing up the pipeline.

Beijing has mocked mainstream Western media for its apparent reluctance to look into recent allegations by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh, that the US was responsible for blowing up the Nord Stream undersea pipelines last year.

The sabotage of the natural gas routes last September had a major economic and environmental impact and caused global concern over the safety of cross-border infrastructure, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said during a press briefing on Thursday.

New Idaho Bill to Charge Those Who Administer mRNA Vaccines with a Misdemeanor

A new bill has been introduced in Idaho that would make the administration of experimental mRNA COVID-19 vaccines illegal.

Representative Judy Boyle (R-Midvale) and Senator Tammy Nichols (R-Middleton) sponsored House Bill 154.

Sen. Nichols introduced the new bill on the 15th of February before the House Health and Welfare Committee, according to KTVB.

According to the bill text, “A person may not provide or administer a vaccine developed using messenger ribonucleic acid technology for use in an individual or any other mammal in this state.”
