300 European and Korean companies participate in business meeting to rebuild Ukraine

【ワルシャワ=林英樹】ロシアによる侵攻から1年を前に、支援国の企業がウクライナの復興協力への準備を進めている。ウクライナの自治体と各国企業の国際商談会が15日、ポーランドの首都ワルシャワで開幕した。戦争の終わりは見えないが、住宅やインフラの整備など経済活動を支える取り組みはすでに始まっている。

An international business meeting between Ukrainian local governments and companies from various countries opened in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, on March 15. 「ウクライナの再建には皆さんの力が必要。対話から始めてほしい」。ウクライナのコズロフスカ・インフラ担当副大臣が各国の企業関係者に訴えかけた。商談会にはドイツや英国など欧州を中心とした22カ国の300社以上が展示ブースを構えた。建設や機械・プラント、電力、食品、金融機関など業種は様々だ。日本企業の姿はみられなかった。
"We need your help to rebuild Ukraine. We need your help to rebuild Ukraine, and we want you to start with dialogue." Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Kozlovska made an appeal to business officials from various countries.More than 300 companies from 22 countries, mainly in Europe, including Germany and the U.K., set up exhibition booths at the trade fair. The industries represented included construction, machinery and plants, electric power, food, and financial institutions.There were no Japanese companies to be seen.
