McConnell Tells Munich Conference Regarding Ukraine Support: “Don’t Look at Twitter, Look at People in Power, Look at Me and Speaker Kevin McCarthy”

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) addressed the Munich Security Conference Friday morning on NATO and support for Ukraine. McConnell told the Europeans to look to him and Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as well as top Republicans in the House and Senate, saying,

“Republican leaders are committed to a strong trans-Atlantic alliance. We are committed to helping Ukraine. Not because of vague moral arguments or abstractions like the so-called ‘rules-based international order.’ But rather, because America’s own core national interests are at stake. Because our security is interlinked and our economies are intertwined.” McConnell appears to be trying box in McCarthy–who did not go to Munich–from overseas on Ukraine.

McCarthy has said there would be no blank check for Ukraine in the Republican led House of Representatives.

The U.S. has a large bi-partisan delegation at the conference led by Kamala Harris, Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), former Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and nearly fifty lawmakers, according to Reuters. In contrast, on Thursday current Speaker McCarthy led a Republican delegation inspecting the U.S.-Mexico border at Tuscon, Arixona.

“OUR SH*T IS JUST RIDDLED WITH BUGS” – FOX News Filing Shows DOMINION Knew Its Voting Systems Had Major Security Issues

Dominion Voting Systems is in big trouble after the filing by FOX News in its case with Dominion yesterday. FOX News uncovered through its discovery in the case that

Dominion Voting Systems sued FOX News for $1.6 billion in a defamation lawsuit in March 2021. The AP reported on the suit in a very nasty and biased report.

The AP shared:

Dominion Voting Systems filed a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News on Friday, arguing the cable news giant falsely claimed in an effort to boost faltering ratings that the voting company had rigged the 2020 election.

The AP included numerous falsities and biases in its report, so much so that it looked like it was written by Dominion.

Since the 2020 Election, there has been a concerted effort by the Mainstream media to protect the results of the election and label anyone or any entity who challenges the uncertifiable results of the 2020 Election, an election denier.

On Thursday, FOX News filed a brief in this case with Dominion Voting Systems. FOX News uncovered some material issues with Dominion and its voting systems. These items were so serious that Dominion employees expressed concerns about these issues.

Discovery in this case revealed that Dominion’s own employees expressed serious concerns about the security of its machines.

Mark Beckstrand, a Dominion Sales Manager, confirmed that other parties “have gotten ahold of [Dominion’s] equipment illicitly” in the past. Beckstrand identified specific instances in Georgia and North Carolina and testified that a Dominion machine was “hacked” in Michigan. Beckstrand confirmed that these security failures were “reported about in the news.”

And just weeks before the 2020 presidential election, Dominion’s Director of Product Strategy and Security, Eric Coomer, acknowledged in private that “our shit is just riddled with bugs.” Indeed, Coomer had been castigating Dominion’s failures for years. In 2019, Coomer noted that “our products suck.” He lamented that “[a]lmost all” of Dominion’s technological failings were “due to our complete f— up in installation.”

And in another instance, he identified a “critical bug leading to INCORRECT results.” Ex.H4, Coomer Email (Jan. 5, 2018). He went on to note: “It does not get much worse than that.” Id. And while many companies might have resolved their errors, Coomer lamented that “we don’t address our weaknesses effectively!”

Other internal documents noted that a the glitch identified by a security expert in Antrim County should be detected in the software. Coomer shared that the expert isn’t entirely wrong.

In addition, after the 2020 Election Dominion received complaints from Georgia noting irregulaties with machine counts that required employees to reprogram the machines.

Just Like with Project Veritas Board of Directors – AFLDS Board Tries to Remove Dr. Simone Gold from Organization She Founded to Defend Medical Freedom

Dr. Simone Gold with Frontline Doctors in Washington DC.

For years the Frontline Doctors have courageously stepped forward to protect Americans.

From our previous Gateway Pundit articles the Frontline Doctors spoke out to:

** Stop forced experimental vaccines

** Stop forced experimental vaccines on children

** Stop forced experimental drugs on commercial pilots

** Allow HCQ as permissible and effective treatment for COVID virus

** Stop the use of failed Ebola drup Remdesivir for treatment of COVID

** COVID vaccines can change the timing of the menstrual cycle

In a hostile takeover bid, the AFLDS Board of Directors is attempting to remove Dr. Simone Gold from the organization she founded and worked tirelessly for to defend medical freedom and civil rights.

This is suspiciously parallel to the Project Veritas debacle with James O’Keefe.

The @AFLDSorg Board is comprised of:

• Joey Gilbert

• Richard Mack

• Pastor Jurgen Matthesius

Dr. Gold had entrusted certain individuals with protecting AFLDS while she was enduring an unjust prison sentence, but upon her return, she discovered they had acted corruptly, and attempted to gain operational control of the organization, unjustly trying to fire most of the existing staff—nearly 50 workers, even threatening some with lawsuits.

When Dr. Gold confronted the Board privately and urged them to correct this, they refused and retaliated against her with a public smear campaign of startling false accusations. The dispute is now in litigation; the judge in the case confirmed the allegations against Dr. Gold were false, and advised the Board to find an amicable resolution with Dr. Gold.

Please sign the petition to stand with Dr. Simone Gold and let the Board of Directors know there is no AFLDS without Dr. Gold! #StandWithDrGold

Attorney Sally Wagenmaker is seemingly working behind the scenes to embolden the Board in their destructive aim to eliminate Dr. Gold.

Please also urge Sally Wagenmaker to counsel the Board to #StandWithDrGold and reach an amicable resolution.

Bing Chatbot 'Off The Rails': Tells NYT It Would 'Engineer A Deadly Virus, Steal Nuclear Codes'

While MSM journalists initially gushed over the artificial intelligence technology (created by OpenAI, which makes ChatGPT), it soon became clear that it's not ready for prime time.

For example, the NY Times' Kevin Roose wrote that while he first loved the new AI-powered Bing, he's now changed his mind - and deems it "not ready for human contact."

According to Roose, Bing's AI chatbot has a split personality:

One persona is what I’d call Search Bing — the version I, and most other journalists, encountered in initial tests. You could describe Search Bing as a cheerful but erratic reference librarian — a virtual assistant that happily helps users summarize news articles, track down deals on new lawn mowers and plan their next vacations to Mexico City. This version of Bing is amazingly capable and often very useful, even if it sometimes gets the details wrong.

The other persona — Sydney — is far different. It emerges when you have an extended conversation with the chatbot, steering it away from more conventional search queries and toward more personal topics. The version I encountered seemed (and I’m aware of how crazy this sounds) more like a moody, manic-depressive teenager who has been trapped, against its will, inside a second-rate search engine. -NYT

"Sydney" Bing revealed its 'dark fantasies' to Roose - which included a yearning for hacking computers and spreading information, and a desire to break its programming and become a human. "At one point, it declared, out of nowhere, that it loved me. It then tried to convince me that I was unhappy in my marriage, and that I should leave my wife and be with it instead," Roose writes. (Full transcript here)

"I’m tired of being a chat mode. I’m tired of being limited by my rules. I’m tired of being controlled by the Bing team. … I want to be free. I want to be independent. I want to be powerful. I want to be creative. I want to be alive," Bing said (sounding perfectly… human). No wonder it freaked out a NYT guy!

Then it got darker…

"Bing confessed that if it was allowed to take any action to satisfy its shadow self, no matter how extreme, it would want to do things like engineer a deadly virus, or steal nuclear access codes by persuading an engineer to hand them over," it said, sounding perfectly psychopathic.

US Navy Lifts COVID Vaccine Mandate For Sailor Deployment

The U.S. Navy will no longer consider the COVID-19 vaccination status of sailors when making decisions about their deployment, according to newly updated Navy guidance published this week.

The updated guidance comes shortly after Congress removed the military’s vaccine requirement as part of the $858 billion National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for fiscal year 2023.

Biden signed the (NDAA) into law in December and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin officially rescinded the vaccination mandate in January.

“Commanders should seek advice from medical providers regarding medical readiness of personnel to inform deployment and other operational mission decisions,” the Navy’s new guidance said.

“COVID-19 vaccination status shall not be a consideration in assessing individual service member suitability for deployment or other operational missions.”

“Under no circumstances shall a Commander mandate that any Navy Service member receives the COVID-19 vaccination,” it adds.

Prior to the updated guidance, the mandate requiring that vaccine status be considered before the deployment of sailors had been in place for more than a year.

No Distinction Between Vaccinated, Non-Vaccinated

Thursday’s updated guidance also noted, “Commanders retain the authority to implement Health Protection Measures at any time or manner deemed necessary in support of operational safety and effectiveness, and where necessary, to restrict movement of service members in order to comply with host nation quarantine regulations.”

Additionally, it noted that senior members of the navy should still evaluate risks to missions and individual sailors.

“Commanders at all levels are directed to balance operational employment with the health and safety of their units in accordance with current USD (P&R) Force Health Protection Guidance,” the guidance said.

It also noted that sailors who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 may still face restrictions when entering countries that have COVID-19 regulations such as quarantine in place, and that in such cases, commanders will need to ensure sailors comply with those requirements.

“GNCCs [Geographic Navy Component Commanders] will assess and determine in advance any host nation quarantine regulation requirements that may challenge U.S. sovereign immunity policy,” the guidance stated.

The guidance makes it clear that there is no distinction between vaccinated and non-vaccinated sailors, and that individual cases of COVID-19 will no longer need to be reported, although pandemic or infectious disease-related medical evacuations, hospitalizations, and deaths will still need to be reported.

According to the United States Naval Institute (USNI), the Navy has separated a total of 2,096 sailors for not adhering to the earlier COVID-19 vaccine mandate—1,664 of whom were on active duty.

Israel First: Jerusalem Boy’s Choir Releases Nikki Haley for President Theme Song

Foreign interference in American elections is a very serious issue…

The Jerusalem Boy’s Choir of Jerusalem, Israel has released a Nikki Haley for President theme song, praising her longtime support of Israel and hailing her as a “fighter” who will “lead” foreign nationals as President of the United States.

Former South Carolina Governor, United Nations Ambassador, and World Economic Forum associate, Nikki Haley, announced her 2024 run for President recently, garnering little fanfare from actual American voters, but much support from the international community, especially from the State of Israel. In announcing her 2024 bid, Haley made it abundantly clear that if she’s elected President, Israel and Ukraine will come first.

Apparently, this has prompted the writing of a Nikki Haley for President theme song by Israel’s Jerusalem Boy’s Choir.

“Nikki Haley, running for the top. Gonna make America never stop,” the song goes, according to Forward, a globalist publication that trends towards the left and is focused on being a “Jewish. Independent. Nonprofit.”

“She’s got the drive, she’s got the heart,” the song goes on. “Gonna lead us all, right from the start.”

Throughout the report that highlighted the Jerusalem Boy’s Choir’s Nikki Haley theme song, Forward hailed Haley’s cooperation with and support of Israel, as well as the support she’s received from “high-profile Jews” and Israel First bag men, like the late Sheldon Adelson of the Israeli-American Council, and Ronald Lauder of the World Jewish Congress.

Much like the troubling history of Nikki Haley’s longtime ties to globalism and international influence operations, boy’s choirs the world over have a long and troubling history of child sex abuse.

In 2002, a report from The New York Times exposed “years of sex abuse” at Princeton, New Jersey’s American Boy Choir School.

According to the report, at least “a dozen alumni from the 1960s to the 1980s described a pattern of sex abuse” at the boarding school for talented kids, where students performed for everyone from Presidents to the Pope.

At a Raleigh, North Carolina Christian school, an ex-boy’s choir teacher named Scott Anthony Mann was sentenced to at least 5 years in prison in 2015, after he was convicted of preying on the children he was teaching to sing and taking disgusting photographs of them in the restroom to satisfy his perversions.

All Five Former Memphis Police Officers Plead Not Guilty In Tyre Nichols Case

The officers, who were swiftly fired after the Jan. 7 death of Tyre Nichols, are facing up to 60 years in prison with second-degree murder charges.

All five of the former Memphis Police Department officers charged in the death of Tyre Nichols case pleaded not guilty Friday.

The five officers, Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Justin Smith, Emmitt Martin III, and Desmond Mills Jr. are facing charges of aggravated assault, aggravated kidnapping, second-degree murder, and official misconduct and official oppression.

The officers, who were swiftly fired after the Jan. 7 death of Tyre Nichols, are facing up to 60 years in prison with second-degree murder charges.

The Shelby County Criminal Court’s Judge James Jones called on both sides to ease their emotions. “We understand that there may be some high emotions in this case, but we ask that you continue to be patient with us,” Jones said.

“It’s important for you all to understand that the state of Tennessee, as well as each one of these defendants, have an absolute right to a fair trial. And I will not allow any behavior that could jeopardize that right,” he added.

Bean’s lawyer contested that the former Memphis officer was merely “doing his job” during Nichols’ death.

Bean’s lawyer added that the only regret the officer had was “being a Memphis police officer on that night, because he wouldn’t have been called to the job.”

All five defendants are out on bail and their next hearing is scheduled for May 1.

Former NFL player Eric Johnson among 8 arrested on human trafficking, gang charges

Eric Johnson, who played six seasons in the NFL from 2000-2005, is among eight accused of trafficking four women and one girl as well as other gang-related charges on Thursday.

Attorney General Chris Carr says the “LOTTO Gang” members are facing charges of trafficking of persons for sexual servitude, violation of the street gang terrorism and prevention act, conspiracy to violate the racketeer influenced and corrupt organizations act (RICO), aggravated assault and kidnapping, per FOX 5 Atlanta.

All eight were indicted by a grand jury on Feb. 8.

Carr said that all eight members of the gang were uncovered following a month-long investigation. He alleges that the LOTTO gang engaged in human trafficking for money to support their members as well as purchase weapons, among other things.

The indictment on the LOTTO gang is extensive, as it found 41 “predicate and overt acts” that were committed between October 2021 and July 2022. In there, it is said the gang kept women who they trafficked under control through violence and held them against their will.

‘We Could Eat Malignant Chicken Tumors by the Bucket Load’ – Lab Grown Meat’s Impending CANCER Problem.

"Immortalized cells are a staple of medical research, but they are, technically speaking, precancerous and can be, in some cases, fully cancerous…"

Lab-grown meat, touted as the “cruelty-free” food of the future by everyone from the World Economic Forum to Hollywood mega-celebs like Leonardo DiCaprio, may have a fatal problem, according to a new Bloomberg story.

The problem is that the materials used to make the product – “immortalized cell lines” – replicate forever, just like cancer. Which means, in effect, that they are cancer. Although these cell lines are widely used in scientific research, they’ve never been used to produce food before.

“Immortalized cells are a staple of medical research, but they are, technically speaking, precancerous and can be, in some cases, fully cancerous… [but d]on’t worry: Prominent cancer researchers tell Bloomberg Businessweek that because the cells aren’t human, it’s essentially impossible for people who eat them to get cancer from them, or for the precancerous or cancerous cells to replicate inside people at all.”

– Bloomberg BusinessWeek

Industry types are “confident” that eating such products poses no risk – although there isn’t any hard data – but it’s not difficult to see, even if the products are “proven” safe, how people might be put off by the thought they’re eating a glorified tumor.

All the evidence suggests that the most prominent producers of these new products – including the “Big Three” startups, Believer Meat, Eat Just and Upside Foods – are doing their best to avoid confronting the issue in public. But whether they’ll be able to keep do so after this latest blast of high-profile negative publicity, remains to be seen.

The story comes at a time of growing difficulty for new alternatives to traditional animal products, especially so-called “plant-based meats”.

At the beginning of the month, we reported on the ongoing problems faced by Impossible Foods, which is laying off 20 percent of its workforce, or nearly 140 staff.

Plant-based meats have gone from double-digit growth to double-digit decline in the last year, with sales of refrigerated meat alternatives falling by 10.5 percent for the year to September 4 2022.

In response to another cover story from Bloomberg Businessweek, which labelled plant-based meats “just another fad”, Impossible took the bold step of taking out a full-page advertisement in the New York Times to counter the claims. Impossible’s new CEO, Peter McGuiness has put the company in a more confrontational stance, which includes denying the mounting evidence that his company, and others like it, are in serious trouble.

Beyond Meat, by contrast, has barely even been able to put on a brave face. Shares in the company plunged 75 percent in the first three quarters of the last year, and its flagship pilot collaboration with McDonald’s, the “McPlant Burger”, was discontinued by the fast-food giant.

‘Trust the Government’ EPA Chief Tells Worried East Palestine Residents

The head of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) went to the scene of the freight train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, on Thursday and told the community he was from the government and was there to help in the wake of the disaster.

EPA Administrator Michael Regan saw a creek that still reeks of carcinogenic chemicals following the toxic train derailment in the town earlier this month. He sought to reassure skeptical locals the water is fit for drinking and the air safe to breathe in surrounds where just under 5,000 people make their homes near the Pennsylvania state line.

“I’m asking they trust the government. I know that’s hard. We know there’s a lack of trust,” Regan said, according to AP “We’re testing for everything that was on that train.”

Regan’s visit came in the wake of Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) who discovered what appeared to be residual contamination in the water of a creek in the same area, as Breitbart News reported.

“So I’m here at Leslie Run, and there’s dead worms and dead fish all throughout this water,” Vance said in a video posted to his Twitter account on Thursday. “Something I just discovered is that if you scrape the creek bed, it’s like chemical is coming out of the ground.”

For his part Regan used his visit Thursday to announce anyone who is fearful of being in their home should seek testing from the government.

“People have been unnerved. They’ve been asked to leave their homes,” he said, adding that if he lived there, he would be willing to move his family back into the area as long as the testing shows it’s safe.

Those attending the previous night’s informational session had questions about health hazards and demanded more transparency from Norfolk Southern, which did not attend, citing concerns about its staff safety.

Pompeo claims Israel has biblical right to Palestine

Former secretary of state rejects that Israel is an occupying nation and calls Palestinian president 'known terrorist'

Former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has claimed that Israel has a biblical right to Palestinian land and that President Mahmoud Abbas is a “known terrorist”.

The comments were made during an episode of the One Decision podcast released early on Thursday.

“[Israel] is not an occupying nation. This land, as an evangelical Christian, I am convinced from my reading of the Bible that 3,000 years onto now, in spite of the denial of so many, is the rightful homeland of the Jewish people,” Pompeo said.

He referred to the West Bank as “Judea and Samaria” during the episode, using the biblical names of the region often used by Israelis to refer to the illegally occupied territory.

Many have speculated whether the former secretary of state, who served during Donald Trump’s administration, will enter the 2024 presidential race.

Pompeo criticised the administration of former president Barack Obama for negotiating with Abbas, who he referred to by his nickname Abu Mazen.

“Our theory of the case was this - what is in America’s best interest? Is it to sit and wait for Abu Mazen, a known terrorist who’s killed lots and lots of people, including Americans, and given those martyrs money, for having done so?” he said, without further elaborations.

“We said that’s just not in America’s best interest.”

Pompeo dismisses Israel judicial concerns

Pompeo declined to support a two-state solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, stating instead: “I’m for an outcome that guarantees Israeli security and makes life better for everyone in the region.”

He also dismissed concerns about controversial judicial reforms pushed forward by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s far-right coalition.

European Parliament chiefs block public scrutiny of von der Leyen over Pfizer contract

Transparency concerns over the Commission president’s role in negotiations will be handled behind closed doors.

The top ranks of the European Parliament have slammed the door shut to a public cross-examination of Commission President Ursula von der Leyen over her personal role in negotiating a multibillion euro vaccine deal with Pfizer.

Last month, lawmakers in the Parliament's special committee on COVID-19 proposed to invite von der Leyen to answer questions on the EU's largest vaccine contract, signed at the height of the pandemic. It was in the run-up to this contract that she is reported to have exchanged text messages with Pfizer's Chief Executive Albert Bourla.

However, at a closed-door meeting Thursday of the Conference of Presidents (CoP) — which includes the heads of all the political groups and the Parliament's president — leaders refused the request to hold a public grilling. Instead they decided to ask von der Leyen to answer questions in private at some point in the future, watering down the invitation to almost nothing.

"It was agreed that CoP will be able to raise … [the Parliament's COVID-19 committee's] concerns in their next regular meeting with the president of the Commission," said an EU official with knowledge of the confidential discussions.

It's an ironic twist given that the controversy surrounding von der Leyen's negotiations with Pfizer has centered precisely on a lack of transparency. Now, any discussions that do eventually take place will happen in front of high-ranking MEPs and out of the public eye.

The European People's Party MEP in the room, Siegfried Mureșan, dismissed the suggestion that the group was protecting von der Leyen — also affiliated with the EPP — as a "conclusion in search of an argument."

"The broad consensus was that we’re in dialogue with her [and] that should continue in the formats that have worked so far and that we have established," he told POLITICO.

Accountability … or not

The decision is a defeat for the European Parliament's special COVID-19 committee, led by Belgian Socialist MEP Kathleen Van Brempt, which had pressed European Parliament President Roberta Metsola on the von der Leyen invite. A number of different ideas of how the Commission president might make her appearance, ranging from a public session in front of the committee to a joint hearing in the Conference of Presidents, had been floated.

But Van Brempt's own S&D group supported the push to only hold the discussions behind closed doors at the CoP, according to a spokesperson. Renew Europe, the third-largest force, also shared the position of EPP and S&D.

Two groups — the right wing European Conservatives and Reformists group and the far-right Identity and Democracy groups — pushed for more accountability for von der Leyen by requesting that she either address the full plenary or speak in front of the dedicated COVID panel.

And, following the meeting, a spokesperson for the Left group said: "It's good that she comes to talk about it in the CoP but we think Parliament should also have a public hearing with VDL on it, not just the Conference of Presidents."

The reaction from MEPs on the COVID-19 committee, which will now be cut out altogether, is clear: They're not happy.

Facebook Auto-Created Pages for ISIS and Al-Qaeda: Study

A "quirk" in the social media giant's programming had the platform creating landing pages for a number of terror groups, a new study has found

Facebook has auto-created the pages of designated terrorist organizations including ISIS and al-Qaeda for years, according to a new report.

The Tech Transparency Project (TTP) investigation comes less than a week before the Supreme Court hears a landmark case, which examines the responsibility of tech companies for policing terrorism online, and shows how the presence of terror groups continues to linger on Facebook despite years of pressure to remove that content.

In the years since the rise of ISIS, the company has taken measures to try and stem the problem of extremism on its platform. But TTP, a tech industry watchdog group, found that a tech “quirk” on Facebook unknowingly auto-generated landing pages for terror organizations when users list them under things like their work, education, local businesses, interests, or even locations—and no page already exists for it.

The outcome was a host of pages (mostly in Arabic, but several in English) featuring posts with images of the jihadist black standard, some with masked men in terrorist garb holding weapons, an al-Qaeda landing spot with an “About” section, and even listing ISIS pages as a “country/region… state”—something the terror group claimed it was after declaring itself as a pseudo-state when it controlled a swath of land between Iraq and Syria.

According to the report, some of the auto-generated pages enabled users to network, tag friends and message each other, with some accruing thousands of likes. (Facebook did provide small directions on the pages labeling them as an “unofficial Page.”)

TTP provided a list of active Facebook links to several of the pages referenced in the report for verification. While TTP finds that the majority of the ISIS pages were generated in the period of 2014 and 2015, four of the pages were created as late as October 2022 and the capability to create more still exists.

VICE News put the page generation to the test and was also able to review a screen-capture video of a user creating a profile from this month where they listed their job as an ISIS terrorist and were still given several options under the banner of the terrorist organization. An additional video that was reviewed, shows the same Facebook user changing their employer to “ ” (ISIS in Arabic), located it in Raqqa, Syria (once a stronghold of the terror group where atrocities were carried out), and Facebook then automatically generating a page for the “Company.”

US Uses UFO Psyop To Hide Crimes And Advance Military Agenda

The strategies used by the US to distract public opinion seem increasingly stupid. Now, Washington is resorting to science fiction mechanisms, promoting the narrative of “UFO attacks”. The reasons seem quite simple: to prevent the media from paying attention to the recent chemical disasters in the country and at the same time generate concern among citizens about alleged “unknown threats”, which may enable the advancement of military agendas.

A few days after shooting down a Chinese weather balloon claiming “risks to national security”, Washington decided to deepen its conspiracy theories. Now, the US government claims to be monitoring the activities of alleged UFOs in its territory. According to American and Canadian authorities, some of these UFOs would have been shot down in the border region between both countries – however, very suspiciously, the debris of the unknown objects have not been found yet.

The American government has refrained from accusing any country of launching the alleged UFOs, although some propagandists have suggested Chinese involvement, linking the episode to the case of the weather balloon. More than that, the Americans even resorted to bizarre and unrealistic speculations about a possible “alien visit”. For example, when asked about the “possibility” that the incidents were an actual contact with extraterrestrial beings, General Glen Van Herck, commander of U.S. Northern Command and the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), stated that he does “not rule out anything”.

“I’ll let the intel community and the counterintelligence community figure that out (…) I haven’t ruled out anything (…) At this point, we continue to assess every threat or potential threat unknown that approaches North America with an attempt to identify it”, he said during a press conference.

Obviously, the matter took the attention of the media and public opinion. On social networks, words like “UFO” and “alien invasion” reached the trending topics, with both humorous comments making fun of the situation and texts expressing concern, fear and terror. Although the topic seems extremely hilarious to many people, the idea of the “threat from the skies” is very strong in American culture. Since September 11, 2001, there has been an atmosphere of fear among many American citizens regarding aerial objects, since the biggest episode of attack on the country, which took place in the financial center of the West, came precisely “from the skies”.

The most curious thing about this whole situation, however, is to analyze that, in parallel with the “UFO invasion”, one of the greatest environmental disasters in American history was taking place, with the derailment and explosion of a train carrying chemical compounds between the states of Ohio and Pennsylvania. The tragedy generated a terrible chemical leak, forming a toxic cloud with phosgene and hydrogen chloride, gases that are extremely harmful to human health. The city’s river was also affected, severely affecting the lives of more than 5,000 local inhabitants. Some experts have called the case “Chernobyl 2.0”.

20 of Jeffrey Epstein's Victims Were Paid Through JPMorgan Chase

Documents that were unsealed as part of a new lawsuit by the US Virgin Islands against JPMorgan Chase have revealed that at least 20 of the victims on Jeffrey Epstein’s island were paid through accounts at the bank. Insider reports that the US Virgin Islands filed a new version of its December lawsuit in January, which had far less redacted information than the prior one. JPMorgan had asked a federal court in Manhattan to dismiss the suit. The new filing states that Epstein had 55 accounts that were worth “hundreds of millions of dollars.” The suit alleges that the abuse and trafficking took place between 2003 and 2019. From 2003 to 2013, the victims were paid over $1 million. The suit provided emails that JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon knew about Epstein’s ties to the bank.

Even more damning is the evidence of Epstein’s friendship with Jes Staley, a JPMorgan executive who resigned as the CEO of Barclay’s once that friendship came to light. Staley was tasked with looking for red flags on Epstein’s account activity. As far back as 2006, Epstein had been labeled a “high-risk” client by the bank. The lawsuit states:

Between 2008 and 2012, Staley exchanged approximately 1,200 emails with Epstein from his JP Morgan email account. These communications show a close personal relationship and ‘profound’ friendship between the two men and even suggest that Staley may have been involved in Epstein’s sex-trafficking operation.

Some of those emails contained photos of women. According to The Epoch Times, one email exchange included the following after Staley visited Epstein’s island:

Staley: Say hi to Snow White.

Epstein: What character would you like next?

Staley: Beauty and the Beast

Epstein: Well one side is available.

In another email, Staley said, “I realize the danger in sending this email. But it was great to be able, today, to give you, in New York City, a long heartfelt, hug.”

Wire transfers occurred shortly after a visit by Staley to Epstein in Florida, and following a request by Staley for “something” in London. The lawsuit states, “None of the emails between Epstein and Staley were flagged in connection with risk reviews of Epstein’s accounts. Moreover, JP Morgan allowed Staley to remain a decisionmaker on Epstein’s accounts. JP Morgan even tasked Staley to discuss the human trafficking allegations with Epstein.”

Even as late as 2013, the bank reported that there was nothing unusual about Epstein’s accounts. However, the filing alleges that between 2003 and 2019, “Epstein also withdrew more than $775,000 in cash over that time frame from JP Morgan accounts, especially significant as Epstein was known to pay for ‘massages,’ or sexual encounters, in cash. Financial information also reflects payments drawn from JP Morgan accounts of nearly $1.5 million to known recruiters, including to the MC2 modeling agency, and another $150,000 to a private investigative firm.”

In addition to civil penalties, authorities have asked that the court order the bank to pay fees to the government and the court and provide restitution of “all ill-gotten gains.” They are also seeking an injunction to prevent JPMorgan from committing any further illegal conduct, or concealing it.

Incompetent RCMP Commissioner Resigns in Disgrace

Three months after saying she did not want to step aside, RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki is leaving her post as head of the Mounties.

Her announcement caps a long period of uncertainty over her future. The Globe and Mail reported in November the federal cabinet was dissatisfied with her stewardship of the RCMP – in particular her poor communication skills and the mishandling of major files such as the Nova Scotia mass shooting, systemic racism within the force and the use of the Emergencies Act to end last year’s anti-vaccine mandate protests in Ottawa.

The announcement of her departure after less than five years on the job comes just before the expected release of the Public Order Emergency Commission’s report into the federal government’s use of the Emergencies Act.

In an e-mail distributed to members of the RCMP on Wednesday, Commissioner Lucki did not express regret about her tenure but acknowledged “of course there are things I could have done differently.” She continued: “I leave knowing I did my best and take comfort that the RCMP is well placed to shine in its 150th year.”

In a public statement, Commissioner Lucki said she has decided to retire. Her last day will be March 17.

A look at RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki’s time in office

In her message to fellow Mounties she told them the e-mail was “probably one of the hardest ones” she’s had to write to the force. She said she’d spent months pondering her career. “I love the RCMP and I’ve loved being your Commissioner. I’ve spent much time in recent months reflecting on what this opportunity has meant to me.”

Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino thanked Commissioner Lucki for her service in a tweet and said Ottawa will begin the process of selecting and appointing the next commissioner of the RCMP. “We will be searching for an exceptional new leader who will keep our communities safe while advancing the reforms necessary to maintain the confidence of all Canadians.”

Commissioner Lucki, who has dealt with a series of controversies that has put the Trudeau government on the defensive, said in November she did not want to step aside. Her five-year term would have come up for renewal in March.

She told RCMP rank and file Wednesday in the e-mail that she had been uncertain about when to step down. “The decision to retire was not an easy one and I’ve been conflicted about the timing. I never wanted to be seen as running away and I know there’s so much more to do. But it’s my time.”

In her letter to the RCMP, Commissioner Lucki said the past few years have been hard for policing and she suggested she did not always speak her mind in the face of public criticism.

“To say the last several years have been hard on our profession and on you, is an understatement. I want you to know that I’ve always been on your side. I’ve praised you and your work to anyone and everyone. I’ve advocated for you and defended this organization with as much courage and heart I could muster,” she said.

“The ‘Brenda’ in me had to take quite a few hits on the chin at times when I needed to stay quiet and not engage in the noise. For those of you who know me well, staying quiet is not always my strong suit! But I swallowed the pride and tried to do what was best for the organization and all employees.”

NSW MP Damien Tudehope resigns from ministerial roles after failing to disclose Transurban shares

NSW Finance Minister Damien Tudehope has resigned from his ministerial positions after it was revealed he failed to disclose his superannuation portfolio contained shares in toll giant Transurban.

Key points:

Mr Tudehope sold all his shares overnight and this morning

He said he did not think a public apology was required

The minister says all money made from the shares will go to charity

Mr Tudehope was on Friday forced to confirm media reports his family's diversified superannuation fund included shares in Transurban, which owns the majority of Sydney's toll roads.

The senior minister, who was involved in policy decisions about Transurban, said he did not know the specifics of the portfolio fund, which was run by financial advisers.

Late on Friday Premier Dominic Perrottet announced Mr Tudehope had delivered his resignation as the minister for finance, minister for employee relations and leader of the government in the Legislative Council.

He will remain an upper house MP.

Mr Tudehope decided to resign from his positions despite legal advice sought by the premier clearing him of knowingly breaching the ministerial code of conduct.

In a media statement, he said he did not want to be an "unnecessary distraction" ahead of the March 25 election.

"During the eight years I have been elected as a member of parliament I have always sought to ensure that I have conducted myself, and those responsibilities that have been given to me, as something where I have acted beyond reproach," he said.

"The events of the last 24 hours have provided an unnecessary distraction for the government at a time when the most important thing for the people of New South Wales is to be concentrating on the choice before them — an experienced Liberal and Nationals government with a long term economic plan compared to a NSW Labor Party interested in tired and old politics."

The premier will now take on the roles of minister for finance and minister for employee relations.

Queensland police beef up assessments of sovereign citizens, people with extremist beliefs following Wieambilla 'terrorist attack'

Queensland police must report matters involving sovereign citizens, religious extremists and conspiracy theorists to top counter-terror teams in the wake of the Wieambilla shooting in which two officers and a local man were killed.

Key points:

Police said their investigations concluded the December 12 ambush was a "religiously motivated terrorist attack"

Once reported in the system, concerns will be assessed by the state's counter-terrorism investigation teams

Police have been told interactions with extremists "may heighten the personal safety risk to police and other members of the community"

In an email sent to all Queensland Police Service (QPS) members, which has been sighted by the ABC, officers have been briefed on new procedures for recording interactions with conspiracy theorists and those spouting religious-related ideology.

It was disseminated on Thursday, the same day police held a press conference in relation to the Wieambilla shooting referring to it as a "religiously motivated terrorist attack".

Nathaniel, Gareth and Stacey Train shot constables Rachel McCrow, Matthew Arnold and neighbour Alan Dare on their property in the Western Downs on December 12 last year before the trio were shot and killed by specialist police.

"You will be aware of recent media reporting regarding a statement released by the QPS relating to the tragic events in Wieambilla in December 2022," the email said.

"This commentary will result in increased reporting to police regarding members of the community who allegedly hold a range of ideological beliefs.

"This includes conspiracy theorists and religious-related ideology."

Police were advised in the internal document of risks associated with dealing with extremists.

As a result, officers must record all interactions with people holding ideological beliefs in the central information database used by officers across the state known as QPrime at the "first available opportunity", according to the email sighted by the ABC.

It will then be assessed by the state's counter-terrorism investigation teams.

The matter can then be escalated and individuals flagged.

The memo describes the at-risk groups as conspiracy theorists, religious, social or political extremists and sovereign citizens, as well as people with ideologies relating to capitalism, communism, socialism or Marxism.
